Had an amazing experience. Hosts are friendly, helpful and know their area and local attractions well. Had a great time, the place and the sites are just as nice as the pictures show, they have a nice herb garden that is available to guests. Highly recommended

Great experience

I was at the Tipi of the Wild River and I was frankly surprised. Just like for a hotel room (110 dollars) you have a secluded piece of land on the edge of a super beautiful river and with all the amenities you need.

A little corner of paradise at a low price

The woman didn't want us to go into the shelter,results we were eating by the flies who are at the meeting.the place is very beautiful the river is very beautiful.only a shower and a toilet.a path to walk without more.st Roman nothing to do with her you have to go to the megantic lake to have fun and find a good restaurant,if you want to rest c is the place...for the rest we will be eating

We are pleasantly surprised to rediscover nature and tranquility, we have disconnected from everyday life to experience this very beautiful experience. Madame Lucie is brilliant and authentic! Besides we have taken good massage care, and to fill everything she is also a hairdresser, I paid for a transformation. Incredible! We will return to all seasons to fill this beautiful place with energy! Thank you Lucy we have been filled!

At the edge of the Wild River!

Our stay in one of the 6 teepees available during the Ontario March break with our 2 children was a wonderfully unique experience. First, our host Lucy was so kind, very welcoming, and very patient with us despite us not knowing much french. The tipi itself was one of the closer ones, to the main reception/bathroom area called L’Oiseau Bleu. We were nicely secluded and in our own little world there. Our children (7 and 5) said it reminded them of Narnia! The tipi itself was very clean and had an “upstairs” which was up a ladder, where our children slept, a futon for us, a dining table for 4 , a small kitchenette for food prep and dishwashing, and a propane heater. Outside the tipi was a bbq and a picnic table with a cover. There was a path down to the river where there was an overlook deck with a chiminea that we took full use of, roasting marshmallows surrounded by snow was very fun!  We did walk (snowshoe, which are available to use) to the other tipis and they all seemed similar except for the big tipi where she let us go in an make a fire in the wood stove. 
The main bathroom was very clean and had a shower and Lucy provided us with linens. 
We loved our experience here and hope to return soon to see it in different seasons.

Beautiful, relaxing and unique family trip!

If you are looking to disconnect from busy, stressful everyday life THIS is the place to do it - an absolutely hidden gem. The tipis come with a futon, a bed located on the top bunk, a kitchenette, outdoor BBQ and eating area, fire pit, hammock and river access. You don't have to worry about bringing kitchen accessories (i.e. plates, forks, etc.), drinking water or propane. The tipis are fully equipped! Lucy is a fantastic host and makes sure you have everything you could possibly need. My husband and I loved our stay!!! It was very peaceful and quiet. We were able to recharge in nature with minimal access to wifi (only in the main lodge). We especially loved hopping the rocks to a pebble beach area. I highly recommend this spot!!! We will be definitely be back.

Peaceful getaway to reconnect with nature

It was an unusual stay, a professional and warm welcome, a truly relaxing time for nature lovers, what a change of scenery! What a wonderful experience to live.

An unusual and memorable break!

The reception was more than charming. The sunrise was at the end of the road, very quiet. The location was dreamy, on the river bank. Waking up by the squirrels and the sound of the water really allowed us to disconnect from the stress of the city. We took advantage of it to go for a walk in Frontenac Park. However, I advise people to bring pillows and something to put on the mattress to sleep on a slightly more flexible surface.

Escape from the city

It's a great place for nature lovers. A few tipis scattered in a pine forest and near a river, here's a great place for a nature break. The tipis are well laid out, with a covered terrace and a nice barbecue. The reception is perfect and the landscape is guaranteed. Of course, not everything is ideal, you have to walk about 200 meters to go to the bathroom or take a shower. But well, for a short stay it's fine.

For nature lovers.

We rolled up on this place and loved the differences it offers.nice tipis, nice river,calm and quiet.lucy, one of the owners was very friendly and helpful. If your in the townships and rustic doesn't scare you this is the place.
