Saint Irenee

We stayed in this fabulous area for 3 days and 2 nights. We came here to play music and believe me when I tell you that we played it! The kitchen was freshly renovated and the acoustics of the room were the brightest. The bathroom is a little small but perfect to sneak in while someone else is showering. The outdoor activities are many and varied, and the atmosphere of this beautiful Charlevoix treasure gives the perfect inspiration to have a beautiful musical stay.

The music oh oh!

We go there for the view, but nothing more. The room is empty, damaged, the doors are not locked properly, the mattresses are terrible. I'm sure there is a way to combine comfort and simplicity. Not even a chair to admire the view outside.

Very, very average

Visiting Charlevoix for the thanksgiving, we were looking for a hotel to enjoy nature and the beautiful autumn colours. The Domain Forget studios are an ideal place for this. 15 minutes from La Malbaie, St-Irénée offers superb views of the river. You can enjoy access to the river (there is a beach, but let's say it's a little cold at this time of year). The city is nearby and there is also the Hautes-Gorges Park. We took advantage of the superb showroom to see Émile Bilodeau's performance.

Enjoy the colors of autumn

A very large buffet accompanied by classical music and other music, with a superb view of the St. Lawrence, and local produce, with terrace if the temperature permits, good service and courteous hospitality, for a brunch on Sunday noon.

Very nice place with panoramic views

We've stayed there twice. Nice apartment, clean and we can bring our dog. However, the mattresses are really hard, very uncomfortable and noisy to the slightest movement. For the price I think these should be changed. We'll consider our next visit

Forgotten domain

We stayed for two nights from August 26th to 28th. When we arrived, it was very hot in the studio. The cleanliness was desirable, there were many flies. We had booked for two rooms. When we arrived, there was only one closed room and one mattress on the floor in the mezzanine which is very high and dangerous. We were two adult couples. A couple finally decided to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. So we turned the mattress on board because it was dirty and distorted. We also had the second set of mattresses, because it had not been installed on any mattress. The dish that was on the second floor was very dirty.

A Very Average Stay

We're staying here for 5 days and loving every minute of it. The apartments are super clean, with fresh smelling bedsheets and clean bathroom with great water pressure. The living room is cozy with a choice between warm lighting or practical bright lighting. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Each apartment has a terrace with a tiny mosaic table and two chairs. It just makes you want to go sit outside and admire the beautiful sunset on the river. The view alone is worth the price.
