We had a bit of a language problem at this location, but managed to work around our lack of French. The room was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast filled the bill. Free WiFi was good. The bathroom is shared. Payment is required in cash.

Inexpensive Lodging

Located right in the city centre with a parking lot, this hostel is very accessible and very convenient. Then you will discover a room decorated with tasteful bcp and you will find everything you need (hair dry towel products). Maryse who will receive you is incredibly kind. Her breakfast is plentiful and with quality products. Peanut butter, maple syrup made by her!!, crepe, white cheese and cereal, milk chocolate for children!. Don't pass by Geraldine&Teva.

A very good address

Very close to the ferry. Easy parking. Charged decoration but exemplary cleanliness. Comfortable bed. Two bedrooms, a shared bathroom. A refrigerator as well. A quality breakfast: yogurt, fresh fruit, crackers or cooked eggs. There are even crepes, maple syrup, jam with toasts... All the necessary information is provided by Maryse who likes to share and discover her area. The tunnel can be used for a more friendly meal.

An Address to Remember

Everything I love about a place: a house with a seal, a nice atmosphere, a comfortable bed/room, nice beds and a good lunch!

That's a nice ride!

We were late arriving with the ferry and Maryse was kind enough to wait for us. She also suggested that we go to the La Fabrique restaurant a few steps away which was a very good address. The interior is very cosy fanfreluches, and that's what makes its charm, the cleanliness obviously impeccable. Breakfast, like Maryse, is very worked and excellent. You can also eat under the funnel if you're tired of restaurants. Maryse is a character, she also plays golf and skidoo (licensed)

Feel free to try this B&B.

We spontaneously visited the Gites de l'Ile in Matane, and fortunately a room was available. The small B&B (around 3 rooms) is quite familiar. You have to go through the family living room and have breakfast there, while the owners also live there and like to give good tips for visiting the small town of Matane. The whole house is filled to every corner with decorative items, but very comfortably decorated. But the highlight is definitely the outstanding breakfast with omelettes, fresh cornmeal and much more.

Very familiar

Ideally located in the center of Matane, nearby restos, salmon observation center a few steps away (just across the bridge!). Dynamic and smiling home of the Maryse chimpanzee, who makes us immediately comfortable. The rooms are very pleasant, clean, the bed is comfortable, the decor is a little charming to my taste but it is also what makes it charming! Hair-up in the room, common refrigerator with 2 bedrooms. Nickel bathroom, supplied mattresses, shampooing, lotions and other beauty products available. Delicious (and!) breakfast (muesli-yogurt, crêpes, cups, toasts, coffee, confession, oranges... really sorry to have had a nice time in the bathroom!
