went there for a quick stay, groupe of 5 adults and we enjoy our stay, the owner Mohamed is very nice and helpful.
the city pool is right there, store close by but metro grocery store the closest is very very expensive lol, will advice to go farther.
is a nice neighborhood, nice park down the street with ST Laurent river, picnic table
will surely go back with kids as pool behind and park definitely will keep them busy.
kitchen is furnished with essential.
it is far from downtown Montreal if u r looking at something close maybe not a good option.

Very nice and helpful host, not that far from anything as long as you have a car.
A great park down the street with the Saint Laurent river.
Public pool right behind.
Very clean, efficient kitchen, nice bedrooms (no A/C but we were there during a heatwave so should be comfortable in regular weather)
Convenient parking.
Supermarket not too far, all and all, a nice place.

Very nice place to stay

I love details when I book a place so details I will provide for others.   
First, great value, for the amount of space you get and the option to have separate bedrooms with doors and even more than one bathroom in an apartment, I can't picture better value space-wise.  The owner is so helpful and clearly wants to make your stay lovely and comfortable.  We stayed in the 2 bedroom aparments, I think numbers 1 and 2.   The first was on 2 floors with the bedrooms upstairs, the second was was the lower back in the same building which had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.   We were only there for one day and 2 nights so I am sure that if we had mentioned some of these things to Abner, he would have adjusted for a second day.  But this was a very quick visit for us.
Pros:
the beds really are comfortable
the host is exceptionally amiable
the kitchen and bathrooms have clearly between renovated and the whole space feels fresh and well cared for. 
I think for a family having a kitchen (with the exception of no oven, full cook top with 4 burners, toaster oven, bar size fridge (no freezer) and lots of cupboard space, this could be a great option.  
Location is close to everything you might need (grocery stores, restaurants, autoroutes etc)
Relatively quiet street 
Nice to be so close to the Saint Lawrence and having a pool, parking space and playground so nearby.
Oh and there was a washer and dryer on site that we were permitted to use, definitey plus for a family
Hardwood and tile throughout so no carpet.  Definitely plus for cleanliness.

Details to consider (remember I am being ultra picky but that's what I like in a review sooo...):
-neutral, the furniture is a bit of a hodge podge, bohemian in a way, but quite neutral
some improvements from my perspective... 
-The front step could be difficult to manoeuvre on as it is concrete and the top step especially is crumbly a bit and kind of slopped.  We took these slowly and with care 
-There is a/c in the form of window units.   I would be more comfortable if these were on the second floor than on the main floor as the main window (very easy to access from the porch) is unlocked and easy to go in through which compromises security.  Also cool air falls so it would be more efficient.
-In the lower back unit #2?  We could definitely smell cigarette smoke, I think coming from the tenant in the basement, who has ashtrays at both doors.   I would avoid this unit if smoke is an issue for me.  I would likely book the upper one the next time for this reason.
-The plumbing makes some funny noises when you flush you can hear it in the drain of the shower and when someone runs water you can hear the pipes too.
- This is more of a suggestion, I had a napping baby in the middle of the afternoon when the apartment across from us was being cleaned.  The cleaning part was fine but it was the radio turned up while the cleaning was happening that woke up the baby.   I am positive had I mentioned this, there would have been no repeat, again our host was super conscientious.
-The rooms are not overly dark when the curtains are drawn, so if you like a dark room, you might want to bring a sleeping mask.   
-I like clean floors, and I don't wear shoes in my house.   I would perhaps suggest that when showing the apartments to leave the shoes at the door or to follow the guests example.
-The bathrooms were nice and fresh in the colour scheme....  Some lovely white shower curtains, even just white cotton, would bring them up a notch to feel a little bit more upscale/spa like (the clear plastic with bamboo brings them down a notch)
-a bath mat would be great
-bring teatowels, washclothes and whatever impliment you like to wash your dishes with. 

Would I return, yes, I think so.   I would choose this over a hotel room happily.  I prefer the quiet of this setting over the bustle of downtown and with such comfy beds it would be easy to stay for a longer visit here.

exceptional value, some quirks, excellent hospitality

A spacious, two-bed two-bath apartment furnished in homely style. There were wooden floors which were quite noisy if there were people upstairs. The location is in a rather working-class residential area along the main road past the docks but it seemed safe and quiet enough. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped with a hob, grill and microwave but no full oven or dishwasher, though there is a (free) washing machine available. There is a parking spot around the back in a little garden and free parking on the street. There is a public swimming pool behind the flats but it was not in use when we were there in June.

The owner is very friendly and helpful and keen to advise and for tourists to have a good time. The downstairs permanent resident is a heavy smoker which we could smell on arrival, but did stop smoking inside when asked by the owner. 

We liked the space and the leafy surroundings – very close to the St Lawrence riverside walks – but I am not sure I would choose it as a first time stay in Montreal. In reality, this property was too far out of Montreal. It is too far to walk to the Metro though there is a very rattly bus which takes you to the green line – it takes about an hour door to door.

Flawless accommodation, pleasant stay, all the amenities (comfort, cleanliness, nearby transportation, walking along the St-Laurent in a charming park...all for relaxation while enjoying tours of Montreal).

A stay that lived up to our expectations!

The owner is extraordinary. He gave us a lot of information about Montreal and the area. Thank you for his availability, kindness and kindness. The place is very quiet, well located 15 minutes from downtown Montreal. We were also able to enjoy the municipal swimming pool 50 meters away for free.

Great place and amazing owner.

We were wary of the overly seductive images on the internet. I had reserved on the faith of the images and the swirling cockroach, and then the owner called me home to confirm, I thought it was all serious and I paid the bail. In fact, it's extremely far from downtown, the apartment is very poor, the cleanliness is questionable, and it only approximates the beautiful photos, for a price that's more than excessive (125 dollars a day!)

A very pleasant accommodation on the banks of the Saint Laurent River, in a quiet residential area.The warm welcome, the friendly breakfast (included!), the spacious cuisine and the very good litter contributed greatly to the pleasure of our stay.
