My husband and I spent 3 nights here in August as part of an anniversary getaway, and it was really cute and private.  We had the smaller of the two rooms, which included a huge bathroom and mini kitchen with fridge, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, microwave.  We appreciated the quiet and the nice ocean view, and the breakfasts were delicious!  All in all, it was pretty good for a random find through Google searching.  Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Getaway

We spent four nights in June at this super venue.
This was our second visit and it lived up to our hopes and expectations in every way.
We needed to rest and relax after a hectic five weeks 'holidaying' in places various.
The great comfort of the place, the provision of a fully equipped, kitchen the ambience, the view to die for from the picture window in our rooms, the sight of humming birds in the garden, the excellent breakfasts eaten whilst looking out over the water and the mountains and most of all the charm and friendliness of Karen the hostess.
We most certainly will go back and recommend the B and B to anyone who visits the area.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean , comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need if you for got to bring something. Beautiful spot one of the best we have ever stayed. The hostess most welcoming. Highly recommend you stay here. We certainly will again. 

Great place to stay!

This is a gem of a B&B. It has two apartments, with  kitchen and sitting room. There is a small, but pleasant sitting area outside from which to enjoy a wonderful view out over the sea and coast. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and prepared a good breakfast which was serve din the house above the apartment.

Excellent B&B with outstanding view

Nice neighborhood, great view, good location to visit Vancouver Island. On the first day breakfast was poor, but on the second day everything was there, including hash browns.

This is one of the best B & B's we've ever stayed in.  Definitely 5 Star.  We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed every moment.  Our hosts were wonderful people, and the breakfasts were fantastic.  We were a party of 5, so we booked-out the entire place.  Upstairs was a 2 bedroom suite with two large bathrooms, living room and full kitchen.  Downstairs was a beautiful double room with large bathroom, living area, and wonderfully comfortable bed.  It had a deck overlooking the water and islands, and the upstairs suite had large picture windows with the same views.  There are steps down to the beach, where you can see bald eagles and sea otters every morning.  There was plenty of off-street parking, and the B & B is close to town and is just minutes from the ferry terminal at Departure Bay.   Added luxuries were the fireplaces that kept our rooms cosy and warm on cold November nights.  There was also a selection of books to read, in each unit, plus a large assortment of DVD's.  All the decor and furnishings were beautiful, and were in keeping with the oceanside locality.  The location is central, and we were able to visit many places by car, without much travel time.   Peace and quiet, with amazing views.  The perfect getaway.

Wonderful hosts, spectacular views, fantastic accommodation

On our trip to Vancouver Island, we spent two days at the Hammond Bay Oceanside B&B. A private property with two residential units, separate entrance and private terrace, from there and from the living room you have a wonderful view of the Gulf Islands. The apartment itself is very lovingly furnished and decorated, you can feel the good taste of the owner Kate, who is very concerned about her guests, she gives tips for entertainment in the area. The bathroom is very spacious and also very nicely furnished, as well as the small kitchen with refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave. The breakfast is served in the owners' living rooms, a car, and a lot to love.

It's a dreamlike atmosphere.

Probably one of the best B&Bs we've ever been to, a great price ratio, and what about the breathtaking situation, not to mention the very warm welcome from Karen and Bill.

It's a great B&B.

We stayed in this B&B in Nanaimo. The room had its own entrance, a beautifully decorated bedroom and a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was fine and served in the owner's private apartment overlooking the sea. Karen was very polite and interested and always strived to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The B&B is outside Nanaimo - for those of us who had no car in the first days on Vancouver Island, really problematic and with bags and bags very strenuous; therefore, I would strongly recommend that if you choose this, you do so in conjunction with a rental car. Overall, Nana is very easy and definitely easy to get to. There are also two excellent ways to get to the lake with a good night's sleep and a good night's sleep.

For quiet sunsets in pairs

From the terrace, you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea and mountains, the room is very comfortable, it lacks nothing, a very quiet location, a very good breakfast, personally prepared to your liking and a very friendly host. Direct access to the beach.
