This place was a mess. There was a layer of dust and grime on every surface. The bedding was old and covered in (what I'm hoping were) stains and hair from other guests. I have travelled extensively through Canada and this is in my top 2 for worst places to stay. Even if the place had been cleaned it would not be worth the price.

The first room we were in was decent, had a decent Kitchenette.  We were asked to move rooms, 3 days into our week's stay. (room was not cleaned before we were asked to move.)  We were moved to a much smaller room, with a broken fridge, and barely enough room to turn around in. We most definitely did not get out monies worth the last 3 days we were there. Nothing close by, no restaurants, no stores, no nothing!  won't ever stay there again, after paying for a room, and then being told we had to move to another one, for no reason what so ever.

Will never visit again

It was a very long day from Newfoundland on 6 hour ferry ride and 2 hour drive to Port Hasting. When I arrived I checked in and Sook showed me to my room. She showed me how to work TV, internet & ac unit and got ice as there was none in freezer. The room was very clean with kitchenette. You back right up to the door to unload luggage. VERY comfortable bed all for $114 CAD! Wished I had stayed longer. Great Host. Thanks!

1 Night in Port Hasting

This motel is very clean and we had a wonderful stay, so much so we stayed again on our return from the Cabot Trail! I would highly recommend this place and the owner is very nice. Personable and there if you need anything. The pretty pink flowers in the window boxes really make it stand out and add that special touch! Would visit again. 👍🏼 Lisa and Bruce, Whitby, Ontario

Twice in one week!

Great little roadside motel. 
Room was freshly painted fresh white with cheerful decor. Tiny kitchenette stocked with everything we needed for basic meal preparation. Five minutes from restaurants, coffee shops, stores. 
Innkeeper was friendly and took us to our room to show us how to work A/C and TV.

Clean & comfortable

We stopped in later in the evening after a long day of driving and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. We were relaxing in our room using the free wifi in no time!
Room was very clean and very well equiped with kitchenettes.  I would recommend staying here to everyone!  They even accommodated our puppy!

Very clean room and awesome staff!

Lovely clean room (5). Everything you would need plus a lovely lady who went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Walls are a bit thin! 
We liked it so much we came back a few days later and managed to get the same room again. Very pleasant stay.

Perfect stay.

When we got there, we wanted to go right back. The owners didn't even get a look. Although everything was organized from the ticket at the door to the proof for the KK, we would still have wanted some personal service for that price. The facility is under construction. Site feel at the front and back included. WIFI was not working well at all. The rooms are nicely furnished, including climate. The beds are catastrophic. They are all over and loud. I wouldn't have stayed any longer.
