I didn't score half a point because there were none. The hotel is old. It's part of old unrenovated establishments. The sign tells you what you'll find inside. The cleanliness leaves to be desired. The bathroom has been tried to be renovated by a Sunday handyman, it's hard and I'm generous. We ordered 2 glasses and it took 15 minutes before the receptionist could find some cartons) somewhere in the kitchen and the parts reserved for employees. The bedding needs to be changed. The lunch was made up of orange sugar tea, the coffee is not drinkable. The bread, the beans and the 2 cereal cereals, it was made up of breakfast cereals, it had to be made up of the best bread in the car.

Sleeping in your car will be better.

I was in the hotel a long time ago and it was nice.
Now, hotel looks like is falling in part.
Rooms need to be upgraded. 
Bed were very hard and not confortable.
We did not get comfort for the bed.
TV was not working.
Very expensive what they offer.  
Very sad

Our stay was disappointing.  It was advertised that they had micro waves and fridges in the rooms.  We had neither..there are very few plug ins and all are being used.  This was a problem when we had a teenager with laptops and gaming systems.  We also all had phones.  The continental breakfast was very meagre.  There were bagels, bread a couple types of cereal and about 6 bananas.  This definitly looks like a fixer upper.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in, only for being exhausted I would have left. The rooms were dirty the bed clothes full of hair, bathrooms a lot to be desired. Everything was bad. Nothing good to say.

EVERYONE BEWARE!! DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!! YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU DO!!!
Do not stay here! They are dishonest and lie to you.One week before we were to leave on holidays, I booked 2 nights at this place OVER THE PHONE and after talking about our trip,we decided to change plans and not stay here.I called back the same day, June 30th, and cancelled the reservation,as we would be travelling in a different direction.My account was only refunded for 1 night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE told me it was because I had to give 24 hrs notice!!  We were not going until July 5th and 6th!!!  I gave him over 5 days notice and he will still not refund my money of  $132.25   I have made numerous calls and the last time was hung up on because I said I was getting in touch with the police and BBB. This is fraud!   Do not stay here and do not trust them!  All they want is your money not your business!!!!

The hotel was cheap, but one can still get less what one pays for. As we checked in, the air conditioner / heater in the room did not work. So we were moved to the room next door. 

The room is very basic furnished. The dead-bolt in the door to the parked car outside was missing, see photo. The safety chain to the door to the hallway was missing, see another photo. The bathrooms hand-wash basin support pipes were misaligned and at different angles. The chair at the desk looked like home made and the TV must have been from the 80s as it was still the good old tube I remember from my younger days..

Cheap and Poor

Terrible is not strong enough to describe this place. Terrible service, desirable cleanliness, old place, furniture worthy of a garbage dump. The only positive thing is the view. To recommend if you have a choice between sleeping outside or a motel.

It's awful!

The rooms at the back are very nice and overlooking the tree-lined courtyard. Very quiet. The windows might need a little renovation, but it was also very clean and comfortable. No fridge or microwave or lunch but for $95 + Tx for 2 beds at the Cape Breton entrance, that's fine.
