Radium Hot Springs

This Motel is old and cold and is full of bugs.  We checking in and we were the only people in the whole Motel.  Room was ice cold and  had over 15 dead and live bugs.  We had two rooms and both rooms had bugs.  We did NOT stay so they are good to refund you your money.

AVOID!  Stay elsewhere

The Cedar is an old motel but is situated on main street Radium.  The location is great for shops, restaurants  and farmers market.  We had a king bed and bathroom, which came with coffee maker, fridge and AC. The room was a little musty smelling but the bed was clean and comfortable.  
The fridge in our room was OK except it was more of a freezer. 
We liked the fact we could use the amenities at the sister hotel the Prestige at no extra cost.

First off we had to register and pay at the Prestige  hotel.  There is no staff at the Cedar inn.   We found that very odd.   The room had an old shed smell to it. The inside of the door had dirt marks (looked like foot prints)    The shower curtain smelled sour and desperately needed to be discarded. The curtains were dusty and one was hanging inside out.  The windows as well as the windowsill hadn’t been cleaned   for quite some time. There were pieces of red tape stuck on  different places on the ceiling.     The towels weren’t folded - more stuffed into the rack.  The bed was a king but had a queen sized bedspread on it.  Looked so untidy.   The biggest horror of all was in the morning we found a disgusting dead bug in the sheets.   Such a disappointment for our last night of holidays.  Would never stay there again

We stayed for 2 nights and had 3 rooms for our family, 
Extremely accommodating with a last minute booking, I was very impressed by how clean the rooms are and will definitely stay here again Definitely Thumbs Up

Great Stay Super Friendly Owners

We love this place! The owners are fantastic, it is a little family run motel.  Very clean and the rooms have all been upgraded.  You can't beat the price for Radium.  There is a huge deck behind the motel with bbq and tables with a nice view. You are just steps away from shopping and restaurants, very convenient. Don't count these smaller motels off your list you might just be surprised in a good way!

Great everything, was taken care of even towels for the hot springs if needed. Room with en-suite and Kitchenettes! 

WEEKEND WITH FRIENDS 

Light, airy room which was simple but clean and nicely presented with a huge, very comfortable bed. Owners were very helpful and offered advice on restaurants, activities,etc.  Towels can be borrowed if you are visiting the springs. 
We could have done with a net curtain on the window as we felt a little exposed leaving the bathroom.

Simple but pleasant

There is no breakfast, no milk, little ice. The bed slept well. The cooler was a small window unit, but the outside temperature cooled before sleep time. All of that said, it is in the village of Radium Hot Springs and was available.

Very basic but at Radium Hot Springs

Owners are awesome! They really make you feel welcome and are very informed on things to do while you are in Radium. Have stayed here 3 times now and love the place will definitely stay here again. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the owners bend over backwards to satify any requests you have. Great location close to Radium hot springs and Invemere.

Relaxing with no stress

We liked the Cedar Motel very much. The very friendly German-speaking owner of the motel was able to give us good tips for our stay. Our room was clean and tidy. The Wi-Fi reception was excellent. We liked the wooden carpet floor because we know enough about smooth carpet floors. We can definitely recommend the motel further to our friends.
