It's a great hotel! It's very comfortable! It smells good on the way in! It's a beautiful evening lighted path by the water. It's a welcoming staff. There was a wedding in preparation.

It's comfortable

We were given a "no-smoking" room which positively *reeked* of cigarette smoke soaked into every surface! The bathroom door didn't close properly, the towels were very small and threadbare, the shower was located in the main living area facing the front door. Walls are badly in need of paint, and the bed was lacking a headboard - pushed against a bare wall that had some patches on it. The whole room felt dirty and I couldn't wait to get away. Hard to sleep also when cars are pulling up once an hour all night. Creepy.

Horrific

Clean and moderately comfortable bed...red sofa with red scotch, saddle, inside the fridge door held by a wire...etc very strong smell of atmospheric scent.....in short, very decent of our choice

Vintage motel

My room was clean and the staff was nice since his new administration his good sense!

His good sense is not waiting and clean

The rooms are large and well equipped, very clean the location is not top but it's good for a night when we do the road, nothing picturesque, average price ratio, there's definitely better in the vicinity but I didn't have time to look

correct for a one-night stand

This place definitely needs a face-lift. It feels like you are in a bad 70's movie all around. The staff was friendly, but the rooms very average. You definitely get what you pay for. There are other better places to stay at in Joliette. 

Average Place 

Dirty... uncomfortable bed... 30-year-old TV... dirty air conditioning... hairy bathroom... cigarette burning everywhere!

Worst motel ever

A used soap was in the bathtub. There were red spots on one of the pillow covers. We also found long hair on one of our sheets. The smoking room, the toilet seat had a cigarette burn stain and was covered with a layer of paint. However, the place had turned out to be quiet and the price of the room was right.

Careless maintenance

We stayed in nicer youth hostile than motel Joliet! 
The room stunk god knows what, to be fair, the attendant did offer to spray but we felt that it would only add another layer to the stench. 
The Tele was from 1980, 19". 
It advertised free WiFi but we were never able to connect.
The smoke detector was on a shelf. Disconnected. I thought functioning smoke detectors were the law.
To be honest, I am a little scared to go to sleep.
It does advertise honeymoon suite. If that is all you can afford you may want to stay home.

If we could have gotten out of it we would have!

First of all let me tell you that im a local and i live in the area for more than 20 years(so i know what i talk about)The only good thing about this place is that it's in a very nice quiet wooden area in the suburbs of a small city.(45 minutes away from Montreal Qc)

First of all i was shocked that when you pay cash(60$) nobody asks for any ID or driver licence or whatever!!!! 
you just pay and they give you a big old fashionned key with a room tag on it(like in the 1950's)
Motel is old fashionned with doors on the outside.
Rooms:
-mattres is as thin as yoga mat (no joke)
-TV is thick 1985 zenith 19 inch from world war 2
-TV remote is nailed into the table
-Room recks of old  smoke 
-cigarettes burns all over the place(by the sink...on the table...on the sheets...)even on the toilet bowl

BAD overall!!!

In the Joliette area there is not too much motels and hotels...the only place that i would recommend is Chateau joliette wich is more upscale expensive but good.
(for some reasonthere is no chain hotels in the area)

This place is a real joke....0$/night would still be overpricced!
