Booked a cabin 6 months ago, drove 10 hours to get here only to be told that they did not have my reservation and they had nothing available only another motel 3 minutes away, no view, no kitchen. They said they could match the $140 cost but when I looked up the motel it was actually $119 a night so another rip off, no discount for their screw up. I brought food to cook expecting a kitchen, but the room we got had no kitchen and fridge didn’t work so cannot save food for another day. So disappointed with what I was hoping to be a lovely experience in Riviere du loop. I would avoid this place at all costs!!!!


Not good 

Little chalet with view on the St-Laurence.  Extremely clean and cozy. Client service was top notch! The young man at the entrance was so nice and his smile was contagious. When I asked if I could have two glass for wine he took me to this little hidden shed where one could find anything from glass to plates, etc.

Apologies for the tardy review. This says we visited in Oct 2022. We actually stayed on our way to and from the Maritimes in Aug 2021 and Sept 2021.  Perfect place for a road trip stop.  Schitt’s Creek feel to it.  Lovely grounds. Stayed in a chalet.  Basic comfortable. Location is superb on the banks of the St Lawrence. Sunset perfect

Perfect road trip stop

We spent a night there with a little boy on the way to Gaspésie. A very clean room, a small, fully equipped kitchen, space for dogs, a beautiful view of the river. Everything was perfect.

We arrived very late and had made arrangements for the key to be left for us which was awesome of them. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and well needed after a long drive. 

When we went outside in the morning, we saw the great surroundings of the motel. There was a large area where families could use for picnics and we were much closer to the water than we realized when we arrived in the dark. 

We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.  

Nice place to stay

We stayed one night on the road to Maritimes in a two-bedroom cottage. The place is small but well-appointed, very clean and cute. The bed was comfy. The grounds are well-kept with a kids play area and have a spectacular view of the St-Lawrence. The check-in was fast and with a smile. Ideal for a road-trip stop and a base to explore the region!

Excellent motel in Riviere-du-Loup

We arrived late, without any reservation, and we called the No which was indicated on the front door of the reception. It didn't take long to come to greet us very kindly and have a room, since we were on a road trip to the Gaspésie. The room was very clean and of a good size. There was a refrigerator, a microwave and several small amenities, as well as a good location. It was a pity that the temperature was not comfortable to enjoy the small balcony. In addition, the view was incredible when we got up in the morning, despite the fog. The only thing we didn't really like was the bed, actually not a comfortable one, the mattress was very comfortable (as well as the floor). Otherwise, it was a pity that the temperature was not comfortable to enjoy the small balcony.

A clean and well-liked stop for the night

We ended up having to book this place last minute on our way back from Nova Scotia.  We were going to have a late arrival and the motel was very accomating with that!  We stayed in tiny cabin # 26.  It was cute, clean and had everything we needed and more.  It had a small cook top, a keurig, complimentary muffins, pan, pot, cups, glasses.  The views from this place are also beautiful.  We stayed with our two small dogs and are looking forward to staying here again next year on our trip back out East.

Great  Place!

What a disappointment I'm booking a small cottage style room that's on the site a few months ago When I arrived on the day of my booking they gave me the key and my room number. It's not at all what I've booked they give me a regular room. The most shocking thing is that they charge me the same price while these rooms are cheaper. I tell the lady room error but she can't do anything my booking was given to another person!!!!! never offered compensation and yet we tried to pass me a worse service quickly!!!!!!

Unpleasant

Stayed here for one night on our trip from Montreal to Dieppe. You can have a cottage or motel room. The motel rooms have a straight on view of the river. There's a large expanse of lawn looking toward the water. Lots of chairs, swings & a fire pit. At check-in you get a muffin to go with your morning coffee. Would stay here again. Loved the view.
