I had a good experience at the inn, I found it clean and well organised. The staff are very kind and the occupants respectful. I was happy to find compost and a concern for the environment! It is a little far from the city, but close to Forillon Park.

Clean and eco-friendly :)

There are private rooms but no private bathroom whereas other hostels offer it. The room was full of flies when we arrived. The kitchen is small.

Well without more

The quality of the accommodation is pretty rudimentary, you have to admit. When we came over, the floor of the room was not clean. And I've never been a fan of the diapers they put on top of the sheets because they are often dirty. As for showers, there aren't many, but that didn't bother us because we were out of high season. I still put 4/5 because the staff is really super nice (even if it tends to be more like 3.5 than 4). They can give you good advice on how to visit the area, including a nice way to see the seals!

Very nice welcome from Hugo, the rest of the boarding schools are very respectful, they don't make a fuss at any time, the common services are very clean, the tips for going out are wise, thank you for these two perfect nights.

A friendly and friendly place

Good location if you would like to be close of everything !!!! The welcome from Hugo was perfect and all the informations he gave us was a lot and right. The team of the auberge gave us a lot and it was very good customer service even amazing !!!!!
For the auberge itself need some refreshing specially outside..... in a front of the auberge you will find all the garbage & recycle bins !!!!! the back as well of the auberge would had need improvement...... 
For the room you really have to choose ( Penouille or Cap of Gaspé) only de Cap of Gaspé have toilet and a sink !!!!!
All shower are downstairs if you would like to take a shower late at night is a problem... The auberge team will organize some activities at night this is fun !!!
The commun kitcheen is well organize and the big fridge is really good , and all the place you can eat is also really good.. I found this is too price for what it is !!!!! We paid 80 $ for 2 person in a very small room without a bathroom in our room....
The front view is beautiful you are facing the sea.....In the morning and at night this breath taking.   !!! It is suprise me even if the auberge was fully book no noice at night and in the morning wow !!!! Thank you everyone who had made our stay really enjoyable......

GOOD LOCATION

A friendly, family-friendly hostel, plenty of good hiking advice, but a door that doesn't close has a key and no locker in the rooms, no breakfast (contrary to what was stated in our guide).

I'd rather have a 3.5 than a 4.

The international hostel proved to be an excellent choice of accommodation for us. As passionate photographers, it is a great starting point to discover the magnificent Parc Forillon which is located just 5 minutes away. The owner of the place, Gilles, was able to give us very wise advice on Nature and wildlife. Moreover, this hostel is very welcoming and quiet with sea views, comfortable and well equipped rooms. A beautiful kitchen is at our disposal to prepare for a beautiful meal. The most pleasant of all is the sense of hospitality of Gilles and his employees who do everything to make us feel comfortable. A big thank you and a continuation to all of you.

A warm and friendly atmosphere

The location was perfect with an amazing view of the ocean! Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Since we were there in the middle of the week and off season we each had a whole dormitory to ourselves.

Great location!

I would say this was about what you expect from a hostel as for the room and bath. We had a double room with a sink and toilet. There is adequate sitting space inside and out. Wifi was helpful as was the information on hiking from the staff. The location is ideal if you are visiting the national park.
The showers are well laid out in the basement. We were able to use the washer and dryer (fee) to get caught up on laundry.

Simple and to the point

the place is good for the price, they have in front of the hotel a bus stop (very interesting for back packed), there is a little convenient store in the village very close to the hostel. They rent bycicles also. 
Problem: in his webpage they announced also a restaurant but it's closed nowadays!!

Pel preu està molt bé...davant de la parada del bus, a prop d'un petit colmado. Bo per a motxileros com jo....Problema: anuncien un restaurant a la seva web però esta tancat!! les dutxes  estan a un sotan i fa una mica de juju arribar-hi...
