Clean beautiful rooms.   Kind and helpful staff and management.   Best price and value in town.  Deep tub.  Excellent mattress.  Soft pillows. Coffee maker,  fridge,   microwave.  Cara's Famous Deli one block away. 

Best in town

Very clean, affordable & comfortable. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Good firm mattress, mini-fridge & microwave. Not fancy but everything you need. Only small issue was that you had to run the tap for a few minutes for the hot water to arrive but, once it got there, it was fine. We stayed during a February cold snap when it was -35C so that's probably understandable. Would highly recommend!

Comfortable & clean

Had amazing time for 3 days and experienced some outstanding service. Last minute check in available and the owner are really helpful and they place had a good vibes as well. I would recommend to try this place if you are looking for a place to stay

Amazing stay

I arrived at 1:30 am July 29th 2021. Was greeted promptly by a friendly owner who made a deal for an efficiency unit which was one of the last non-smoking rooms available. Although the motel is in an older part of the city and looks retro from the outside; the room was surprisingly modern and clean. It had obviously been updated and best of all the kitchen area was well equipped with cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, and dishwashing necessities. This was great for me for breakfast as I was travelling by motorcycle and had travelled several hours to avoid bad weather in the area I was going to camp in.
I would highly recommend staying here and would return again another time.

Great service for late arrivals

I was in town obtaining my Class 1 CDL (Trucker License) and I stayed here at the Fireside for close to a month.

Very nice clean rooms, extremely comfortable king-sized bed. Very friendly staff. The owners take great care be picking up litter and maintaining the parking lot/sitting areas. It shows they truly care about their guests and presentation.

Covid masks were used and plenty of sand sanitizer was on hand.

The only negative thing I have to add is that street construction was taking place so there were some issues with parking and noise, however this was out of the hands of the owners as this was city construction.

I had very nice stay. Yes I would recommend this hotel to friends and I would stay here again.

One Month Stay

My stay was fantastic, the rooms are cleaned often and the place was recently renovated and includes amenities such as parking spaces, air conditioners, heating, wifi, tv, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryers, bath supplies and towels. The price was economical, when compared with other local stays. I believe, this place is suitable for family, friends, couples, and working professionals who are visiting Sudbury and it’s accessible through buses. The staffs and the owners are very friendly and provided the required help and assistance during my stay.

2 stars at its best. comfy beds, clean and good quality bedding, fresh, and bug free. newer conditioned rooms - excellent value. rooms are well cleaned and presented, although not to be compared to the ritz. stayed driving east, and stayed again on the trip home. good proximity to regent street for pubs and food, as well as a great pizza and sub place (cortina) just a few blocks away along lorne street. i do not think you will a find a better place in sudbury for your dollar.

great place for your money and comfort

Best parts: spacious room, big fridge, comfortable  beds, efficient AC and good bathroom.

A bit old-fashioned and jaded. In a good position when passing through Sudbury. A bit on the expensive side for what you get. 

Very good in parts

This is a great affordable and very very clean Hotel. I can't say enough about the owners and the cleaning staff. They always accommodate you whichever way they can to meet your needs. You have a choice of a smoking room or non-smoking room with a flat screen TV a fridge internet. The beds are comfortable with very warm comforters.  I can't say enough about the comfortable atmosphere. Great job Minal!! ☺ we look forward to our next visit to Sudbury.

Only place to stay

Stayed 2 nights, friendly staff, good location, older motel but well-kept, a bit noisy due to traffic would deffinetly return. Restaurants, coffee shops nearby Big Bang for your $$$$$! Kudos to the Imperial/Fireside Inn.
