Cate and Greg were wonderful hosts and so very accommodating to my bicycling friends and me. Cate pays meticulous attention to detail, whether regarding cleanliness and hygiene or meal preparation. Greg even drove us to town for a lovely dinner at a fine local restaurant. Thanks you!

Wonderful Accommodation

Charming and welcoming . Exterior and interior show the care and love that Kate and Gregg have for this iconic home. The ´à la carte ´breakfasts are sumptuous, delicious and varied. The location was great for us ( we were two couples ) as it was a short peddle to an excellent restaurant ( Brother's 2 )

Two  wonderful nights- part of a cycling tour

Great B&B within Summerside. It's outside of the downtown area but still within the city. You could walk to downtown if you are ok with 20mins. It has lovely grounds though with a park across the street. Relatively quiet street for a main drag.
The room (Princess room) was a good size with a small but nice ensuite bathroom. No air conditioning but the room had 2 windows and a nice PEI breeze all night. There is an overhead fan in the room too.
Breakfast was very nice. They have a choice of 4 items.
The owner made the experience though. Cate was fabulous. We had a 16' trailer with us and she went out of her way to make sure we could easily park it. She called us before we got there to give us advice and even moved her own vehicles to make room in their ample parking lot along with the other guest vehicles. And she's the epitome of Atlantic Canadian hospitality!
I rarely give 5 stars but this was a 5 star experience. Highly recommend!

Warm House Retreat lives up to its name....a perfectly lovely, traditional bed and breakfast in Summerside, PEI.    We loved the attention to detail in this beautiful home; spotlessly clean,  super comfortable bedrooms and common areas.   Several different outdoor areas to sit, relax and enjoy the large well-kept property.    Cate and her husband, Greg were extremely kind and helpful hosts, we immediately felt at home!   The breakfast served surpassed any we have ever had at a B & B and it was a treat to be able to choose from a nice selection of delicious dishes.  Great coffee too!   Overall, our stay was far too short and when we visit the island again;  we'll be sure to stay here.  We loved it !

Warm House Retreat....formerly Warn House B & B.

We stayed three nights.  Felt like a home away from home.  Friendly staff and excellent breakfasts.  Treated like family.  Highly recommend  this B&B for your Summerside retreat.  The grounds are very well groomed with several areas to sit and enjoy.  Bikes are available to enjoy the boardwalk.  It is a very quiet area and staff attended to all your needs.

Wonderful location.

We decided to stay overnight at an inn in our home province this year. Warn House (soon to be Warm House) was everything we could have wished for. Cate is a wonderful warm and welcoming host. The inn has a relaxing atmosphere. It is clean and quiet with a peaceful lawn and gardens and an excellent, large breakfast. There is complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate available throughout the day. Cate allowed us to store our bikes for the day after we had checked out which was very convenient. The inn was close enough to downtown that we could easily bike or walk to it but away from the congestion. We would definitely stay at Warn house again.

Wonderful staycation

No surprises with this B&B, greeted at the door and welcomed into a very nice house, room was excellent,  breakfast fantastic, advice on local attractions much appreciated. Great location for a tour of the North Coastal Drive area. Definitely recommended from H&A in Manitoba.

Since taking ownership, Cate, Ceilidh and Greg have poured their hearts and souls into Warn House.  The house is situated on a lovely, large treed lot with plenty of space to wander among the mature trees and garden. The house is very clean and comfortable. There are four well appointed rooms with private baths, and comfortable beds.  You will have a choice of hot breakfasts, cooked up by Ceilidh and served to you by Cate at a time of your choosing.  The dining room afforded us with enjoyable and friendly conversation with our fellow house guests. The owners always had lots of time for us with tips on what to see in Summerside. We had only booked one night at the Warn house, as we were traveling around the island, however, we soon discovered that this would have been an excellent spot to stay a few days, as it is central and close to many of the must visited spots of the island. Just up the road from Cavandish, Charlettown and all points to the north west.  We received lots of hugs on our way out and a tasty treat to take with us on the road.  Thanks for a great stay.

This B&B is more than an inn.  The innkeepers go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay!  A comfortable bed, great breakfast choices, and provides such a wonderful atmosphere full of laughter.  As each day unfolded, they shared so many helpful tips of where to go and how to get there.  It didn't end there, a hurricane hit the island hard, did a lot of damage to their property. So many people helped them out so in return, they made a pot of spaghetti, some hot coffee and great conversation.  What a place to stay at, so many good memories to add to my vacation diary .

"A warm, inviting place to stay"

My wife and I recently visited Summerside PEI for an Acadian reunion. While looking for a place to stay we came across the Warn House and felt it would be a nice place to stay. Within walking distance of downtown and they have bicycles if you don’t care to walk.

When we arrived Cate welcomed us, checked us in and took us on a brief tour. There is about a 2 acre garden where we met Ceilidh, the chef, tending the plants. There are plenty of places to sit and relax and even a fire pit if the night is a little chilly. 

Greg and Cate had only taken over the Warn House a few months before but they sure seemed  as if they had owned and run it for a long time. We had no issues with our stay and they are the nicest people. 

We stayed in the King room, the largest room so there was more than enough room for our luggage. The King room has an ensuite bathroom with a great shower. There were three other rooms, all with private bathrooms although one room has their bathroom across the hall.

Breakfast was a real highlight, really good but not too big. Some B&Bs try to make too big a deal with breakfast and make a huge breakfast we can’t finish. This was perfect, waffles or a frittata or oatmeal and other choices. Coffee and tea is available all day. They have small one-person french presses and a hot water dispenser.

We would definitely stay at the Warn house again next time we visit PEI.
