Made arrangements to arrive after hours and no one was there, nor did the after hours phone number work “incoming calls to this number are restricted.” After an 18 hr drive, booking in advance through Booking.com and a personal conversation with the hotel that they would stay open until midnight, my partner departed without a room and continued driving at 12:03 am. Couldn’t be more aggravated.

Super unhappy

Very small room and been around a long time with no AC!  The store staff were friendly (to check in) but busier with the store.  The beds were clean-ish but the washroom does need work.  This is more designed for workees to stay in the area while on assignment.

Should have stayed in Watson Lake

We spent one night here on our way to Dease Lake. It is your typical motel in a very small town like Teslin where you check in at the convenient store where there is also a gas station. It looks like the bathrooms have been updated and there was a fan in the room but we suffered because it has been quite hot at this time in the Yukon. Staff has been helpful and pleasant and the price is right there is a coffee maker microwave and small Reefridge in the room and also a flatscreen TV.

Basic small town motel

This small motel is on the Alaska Highway and room was adequate but clean.  It did have a small frig and microwave.  There was a small store attached. Most of the rooms were occupied by highway construction crew members but it was quiet.  Beds were basic.

Basic but clean

My mom and I stayed here for a wedding. The rooms were very basic but clean. It was quiet and the staff was friendly. 

The store prices were quite reasonable when compared to other northern stores. If you’re looking to do any shopping for native crafts the place across the street and the museum and cultural center are the places to go. Way cheaper than Whitehorse!

A nice place.  While it's not impressive from the street, it's clean, comfortable and everything seems to be newer and in good repair.  We were pleased to have the microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and of course TV.  WiFi is included and has decent speed.  The general store is well supplied for its size.

A good stop along the Alaska Highway in the gap between Whitehorse and destinations south and east,

Good motel along the Alaska highway at a good mileage from the ferry in Haines.

The room had an updated bath room that was very clean.  The room had a refrigerator and a microwave that we used.  The fuel was discounted 4 cents per liter or about 12cents per gallon.  That was helpful.  Checkin and payment took place at the trading post or grocery store counter.  The carpet was worn but clean.   The room was hot when we arrived but cooled when the window was opened.

Basic motel in a remote area with the essentials

Motel very well located by the Alaska Highway to make a step. Large room with a comfortable bed. The motel is not new but in good condition. The bathroom is large and functional. There is no air conditioning but only a fan. Like most of the rooms we had during our stay in Yukon. Fortunately the nights are cool. We only spent one step night in this motel, I don't think it's ideal for a long vacation stay given its location. There's quite a lot of traffic from the general store and the essence station. Lots of trucks. WiFi is free and the flow was good.
