Tracadie

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Decor is dated even though the rooms seem to have been updated recently. Floors have laminate. Air conditioner in room did not cool very well. We had a second floor room facing the front/bay but had to move to another room as TV did not work. As it turned out that was a good thing. The room at the front was noisy due to vehicles on the road (seems like every guy in town, regardless of the size of vehicle, had to make it sound like a 747... think harley's on steroids!) Bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and when we reported the TV did their best to get it to work but when it didn't moved us to a new room. Rooms have microwave and fridge. 

The basic layout is that of a drive up motel with ground floor rooms facing the main street and others facing the back parking lot. Second floor rooms are accessible by stairs only. The continental breakfast was not available due to pandemic regulations. The staff was very conscientious about sterilizing public areas.

Small town motel

Stayed here for a few days and had no complaints at all.  We had room 13 and it was updated and very clean.  Would definitely stay again when we return to New Brunswick.  Staff very helpful and spoke English as well as French.  Continental breakfast excellent. Highly recommend.  

Updated rooms - very pleased

It's a nice, clean, comfortable motel, very friendly reception, a little light in terms of sound insulation, but given the construction in the country, it's normal!

Close to the marina and downtown and quiet!

We stopped at Auberge Centre Ville as a quick stop-over on our drive from Gaspe, QC to Charlottetown PEI. It's a small motel overlooking the small boats in a small river harbor of a small town. Very charming and minimalist with friendly people. I'd go there again.

Great as a Quick Rest-Stop

This small establishment could give cleanliness classes to most of the big hotel chains. Perfect sleep for the two guests is rare. We felt like we'd slept at home so it was so quiet and refreshing. The sheets and the lid still smelled Downy! You can't ask for better. It was just a little bit smaller but I'd choose small and ultra-clean anytime. The indoor temperature was also perfect. No noisy ventilator needed.

Cleanliness and perfect sleep.

The room was very clean. It included a Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, iron and ironing board.  There is no carpet in the room so you know that the floor is clean.  The Wireless internet is very fast.  Friendly staff.  I will go back when I am in that region.

Very clean rooms

Doing road support for my husband and friend who were biking the North shore. What a great find in Tracadie. Jeanne was amazing. Can you say customer service? Not only did she call our cell to say room was ready, she let us “steal” a couple wine glasses to go across the street to have a picnic along the River. Great balcony rooms, working AC and comfie pillow top beds. Would definitely stay again

Bike Trip

For $136.85 x included in double occupancy, we had a full studio room No. 22 (1 bedroom with 2 large beds, kitchen, living room and bathroom) very clean, facing the marina and very close to the city center.

Nice location, clean and affordable!

Very clean, as newly refurbished, and comfortable. Breakfast included, juicy but sufficient for a snack (yaourths fruit bagel cereal tea and coffee) Ideal for a one-night stand. Cafeteria and refrigerator in the bedroom.

I come to Tracadie every year or two to visit family and friends. I stay at the Auberge and either get a room or one of the cottage suites. I am always treated VERY well there by the staff, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast is very good with lots of choice. The views from the rooms are beautiful....looking out onto the Tracadie River with the boardwalk. Behind the hotel is a nice bike path. I never want to stay anywhere else.
