We spent 2 nights here in the Eleanor Suite which is located on the second floor at the back of this beautiful home. Jen is super friendly & provided delicious breakfasts for us. The bed and room were very comfortable. Dinner recommendations were great. Location is perfect for walking to the harbour & downtown Victoria. Highly recommend this cozy spot.

Beautiful BnB in a great location.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Fisher House this past July on a return visit to Victoria. We had really enjoyed the convenience, walkability and neighborhood feel of the James Bay area of Victoria and booked a stay at Fisher House in the heart of James Bay for our second trip. What a delightful home! Jen is an experienced, attentive and easy-to-visit-with innkeeper who loves what she does - which includes fixing amazing breakfasts each morning. The larger, en-suite room facing the rear has a huge, bright bathroom and a sun porch with chairs small tables where we enjoyed reading the first afternoon. The house itself is from the Craftsman era so the first floor sitting room, dining room and the entry are beautifully preserved with original woodwork if you are inspired by fine architectural interiors. It made for a beautiful, sunny setting for breakfast with fellow guests. There were three couples both nights we stayed which made for leisurely breakfast conversations with travelers from US, Canada and Europe each morning. We will certainly be back here next time we return to Victoria and plan to recommend Fisher House to our kids if they travel to the Pacific NW.

Wow! What an awesome B&B!

My wife and I only required a stay of one night while doing some business in Victoria so we were very happy that one night stays are welcomed.  The place was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.  The location is within a short walking distance to the Parliament Buildings, museum, harbour etc.

Very happy with our stay

We stayed for 2 days and we had a lovely time. Feels just like a home and Jennifer took great care of us. We were offered great breakfast as well every morning. The location is very central, just 10 mins walk away from centre. Highly recommended.

Quaint little place

We stayed here for one night before travelling back to Vancouver airport to fly home to the UK and had an excellent stay. We were very welcomed to the house, shown places to eat and where to walk to access the main city centre and shops. The facilities were excellent and very clean, with a wonderfully decorated bathroom and spacious shower. The bathroom is down the hallway slightly but is still private for each room so not a problem. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve stayed in all holiday (what are the pillows made of!? They were wonderful!). Shame we could only stay one night. Breakfast was great too. Highly recommended.

Lovely place with the most comfortable bed in Canada!

Sadly we only had one night at this location because I would have loved to stay longer! It felt like sleeping at home. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the seagulls outside acted as wonderful background noise to fall asleep to. Jen made an amazing breakfast of blueberry cream cheese French toast and had everything I could have wanted or needed available. She even offered to do a load of laundry if I needed! I highly recommend staying here. 

Lovely place to stay 

The BB is only a 5-minute walk from downtown Victoria. The house itself is very old. Everything is squeezed and rusty. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. The bathroom is outside the room, which was no problem, but the breakfast was good and the hostess was very friendly. We found our stay for one night OK.

Old house, central location

This B&B is located in a charming all-wood house, close to (a few minutes' walk) the historic city centre.

Charming house near the city centre

Enchanting B&B, tastefully decorated and very well attended by its hosts. To get to the city centre it takes about 15 minutes to walk, but it is a pleasant walk. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, with easy parking if we have a car. They have a few rooms, and not all have a bathroom inside. Our house is spacious, with a large and super comfortable bed, and has a bathroom and a small balcony outside. TV and wifi. Breakfast is served every morning in the community dining room, at a large table next to the other guests. It was the ideal time to share experiences and meet people.

A pleasant B&B to discover the city of Victoria

It's a very nice place and very quiet with a lot of things to do on foot. There's also a supermarket nearby. We were very welcomed by Jennifer who makes her guests comfortable.
