I stayed at this hotel for one nite just becoz of the location is about 15 mins by cab to airport. There is no fridge in the room and I had to request and waited for over an hour for them to deliver. Carpet is so dirty and you dont feel like stepping on it with your barefoot. The room that I stayed on 17/f is full of sewage smell. Gym is 24 hours but when I went down at 530am there is no switch so I had to run on the treadmill in pitch dark environment. Upon check out, I asked the hotel to email the hotel bill to my account and it has been a month now and I still didnt receive. This is like a self service hotel.

Never go back

After I checked in, noticed I booked wrong Holiday Inn Express, but due to the event which was held in Beijing couldn’t find another hotel.

This Holiday Inn Express was not the one I have known, can say this hotel changed my image to the brand 100% very negatively.

Starting from Entrance, there was very less clean feeling (luckily bed & towel was fine though), molds at shower booth, dirty sink, after changed a room then smelling like bad odor from the plastic wall & better but still no-maintained shower booth.
Breakfast was not typical Holiday Inn Express, mainly Chinese, bit of western.
No Holiday Inn Express amenities. 

A few good side, right after sending a comment, night manager came to check & changed a room so 1 ⭐️ for IHG Service & very prompt action on-site, 1⭐️ for bed & towel. 

I will avoid holiday inn / Holiday Inn Express in Beijing next time. 



Not good

Check in /check out processes were painless enough.  Employees are very helpful.  Gym is small but clean and well-equipped.  The restaurant is charming and has a solid selection.  The location is great if you need to be in the area.  Now on to the rooms...  The rooms need to be renovated.  Let's be more specific.  My bathroom was probably in the worst shape I've seen in many years.  Not clean.  If my bathroom was anywhere near a decent shape, I would have rated this hotel 5 or at least 4 and not think twice about going back there.  Now I make a point of not making a reservation there whenever I consider hotels in the area.  

Rooms need to be renovated

Budget hotel, slightly run-down. At this time, avoid room facing south due to exposure to a construction area (no one inform you about the pre-arrival). Standard double rooms (we had three) are warm, AC working bad and windows can open just 10 cm. Cleaning just so so. Dont look under the bed, no one clean that area for a long time. Breakfast was ok! Will not return, there are other hotels in the area with a similar price level that are better.

Budget, you get what you pay for

As is common in China 3-star hotels you will find this location a bit dated and run down.

The gym is small but has treadmills, bike, and three nautilus machines for a decent workout.

The included breakfast is a mix of western and Chinese.

The room itself and the hallways leading to it have seen a better day. The TV in the room has international channels like CNN.

Unfortunately in the winter the rooms were quite cold. Management needs to look into this.

Decent Gym, No frills, Rundown

I had very good service and a comfortable room. I had a couple of needs which were filled without issue. I received free coffee from the restaurant which was nice after a long trip. The only problem I had was not knowing that they count a 2am arrival as the previous night. Luckily my friends were able to care for me for a few hours, and the hotel made sure I had a room.

El Holiday Inn Express Wanjing is a hotel that is located in an area where there are many offices, but it is far from the center. Close to the airport. We chose it because it was close to the location we had to go to. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is varied, although more options for Chinese tastes. The staff is very helpful, but not everyone speaks English. The hotel does not have maps or information for the tourist from the outside, carry pre-print. The nearest subway is 500 meters away.

A normal hotel, far from the city center.

The windows, the doors and the walls are old. You can hear and feel everything, from the neighbor smoking to the cars 12 floors down or the other guests walking down the hall. Breakfast is good but if they arrive after 9am there may not be what they want. The whole team is very nice and blurry and there is always someone who speaks English. I noticed a difference for the worse since the last time I was here a year and a half ago. The area has many shops and restaurants and the metro is a mile away, a little bit away if it's raining or cold... By the price/quality ratio I give a positive rating.

It's been better.

It's not a luxury, but it's functional. It's easy to live in. Western breakfast is available, Western snacks are also available at affordable prices in the restaurant. The internet is rather weak, staff are having trouble with English. There are many good Chinese shops in the area, a good mall, a shopping center with many cafes (SOHO) next door. It's a 20-minute walk to the metro, then you can get to Beijing.

Good location for airport, metro, mall

The hotel is very comfortable. The room is excellent and very spacious and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast and meals in general are great and quite varied. However, it is a better hotel for business as it is close to the offices of several companies. I do not recommend tourism because it is reasonably far from the center and far away from some attractions such as the summer palace. Another positive point is that there is a metro line very close to the hotel.
