I was in China July to August and I stayed in this hotel, very comfortable bed, the rooms are very clean, the excellent staffs are very helpful and polite, I don’t speak mandarin and some of the staffs don’t speak English or Cantonese but we make it up with some hand sign! I am going back in September and I am looking forward to stay here again, most recommend to other travelers!

Wonderful stay and excellent service 

I liked the location, two steps from the subway, a bunch of cafes, shops. The hotel was nice, the interior was amateurish, kind of old-fashioned. The staff quickly settled down, connected to Wi-Fi. The room itself was quite spacious, two large beds with white snowclothes and two large pillows, very comfortable to sleep on. The room had everything you needed, even a teacup and tea, different connectors for charging phones. The bathroom was spacious with a large shower. I didn't like breakfast: an old-fashioned interior like in our '90s, the dishes were scary plastic, and there was something to eat, but all this Chinese and non-Chinese, coffee and tea from the cans, and if you don't dare to choose a diner, you should choose a tea.

Transit through Guangzhou

We ended up in this strange hotel after missing our flight to Europe. China Southern had sent us here at 2.30 am.

Overall impressions : hotel was in the middle of nowhere (I am very surprised to read previous comments saying there is a metro statio nearby - staff said there was no station closeby and we did not see any), global design was kitsch and globally ugly, the room + bathroom were tidy and the bed very comfortable, staff spoke no english (a bit weird for a hotel catering for worldwide travellers, no ?) and the environment at night was not really friendly (I am not saying it was dangerous, simply it wasn't welcoming at all).

To sum it up : not the ideal location, not a place that I would book by myself but it was OK for a night. China Southern had sent a private driver to bring us to the airport so it all ended well for us.

I am only giving 2/5 because it is somehow lower than other properties that I rated 3/5 but it is not a bad hotel as such. I would rate it higher should it be better located.

Ended up here after missing flight back to Europe

This hotel is near airport around 15 minutes drive.
Metro stairs just outside the hotel, very convenient. Pizza hut adjoining. Stores nearby.
They have a airport shuttle. I took 5 am one,
Convenient . Room ok , a little outdated. No choice of vegetarian food in breakfast which was ready even leaving so early in morning.

Stopover stay

Good hotel, close to the airport, about 15 minutes by taxi, and very close to the metro to go to the fair, but for the fair it takes more than an hour and three line changes, but it costs only 8 remimby, 1 euro, good price 300 remimby, about 35 euro, double bedroom comfortable even during the fair, a little old hotel, nice quiet rooms, wi fi without password... nice and typically Cantonese area in the evening, open dining restaurants for 10 euro... 80-90 remimby, note bad breakfast, they take away the dishes thick, cold coffee, no or juice of it... bread without marble or burro or anything else, a few noodles and some other sweet, make a brekfast, two k's and a doughnut doughnut in China... but remember that we are a positive donut in China... but we're a good donut in a good way...
