Had breakfast at the hostel this morning which is situated just off the main shopping street to the left and down to bottom of street we had banana pancakes and cappuccino for about 40 quan about 4.30 euros and it was so nice you can also stay here just up the road is a new cafe that has been open called Foreign Friends Cafe.  The food is so good carrot cake and brownies and lots of other cakes that fabulous.  He also sells Wudang tea so if in WudangShan make sure you visit this cafe it situated just down from the main gates way to the temple 

Breakfast at Hostel

Is a very nice Hostel with lovely people.
Some of them speak also good english and they help also a lot when you need some support. They have also a pool table and western food and drinks.
So when i'm in wudang i will be there.

The Place to stay in Wudang - Laoying

Travelling from Wuhan, took night train to Wudang Shan train station. Arrived around 6AM, then took bus number 203 and got down at 1-2 bus stations before Wudangshanmen 武当山门. Staff could speak English and very helpful. You can walk up, round 10 mins to Wudang mountain gate. Most important= reasonable price!

Nice staff and great locations

I use the hostel quite often, and always come and stay at the hostel, the prices are good, they serve western food, and the rooms are basic and clean, if you travel and fell like having a good night with Few drinks and western food this is your place. 
As well the location is at the heart of the city, not far from a food street, and 5-10 minutes walk from the mountain. 
The staff have good English and are nice and helpful.

Wudang hostel review

I stayed at the Wudang International Youth Hostel for several nights before finding my own accommodation in the town. During my stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the manager speaks English amazingly well. The rooms are clean and the cafe is a great place to chill out and meet some fellow travellers as well as students at the local wushu schools. 

The coffee is great and the milk tea is even better! Whether shooting a game of pool, playing some Chinese chess, or just chatting with the locals, you'll find the hostel a warm and welcoming place.

Wudang Central

We liked the hostel very well overall. The English staff were extremely helpful, even escorting us to Taiji school and translating for us, as we wanted to train there. The hostel is quite clean (the lobby might be wiped sometime in between) and in the room you feel like you're in the hotel. Unfortunately, you're down at the restaurant for up to an hour and a half for a pizza and the waitresses don't speak a word of English. The map has English names, but the dishes aren't described, so you don't know exactly what to expect without asking in some courts. There are no free maps of the area or Wudangshan, which I find very unfortunate.
