Dirty room, dirty towels. The mattress, like sheets, full of hair and red spots. They gave us, at one degree outside temperature, just a small electric thermometer. Neither the thermosphere nor the heat pump worked. We informed the facility, but no one intervened. We suffered cold all night. Disgusting breakfast. No service and dirt. Okay the modest price, but cleaning is required and heating too. We really weighed down.

Unfortunately, the accommodation is NOT recommended. The check-in was quite hasty and in a few words the keys were pressed into our hands. The rooms are dirty and urgently need to be renovated. In the bathroom were used towels and hair (so it was not cleaned). The room walls were stained and partly crushed by the cleaning of the walls. The room floor was also not cleaned and was mirrored full of hair, dust and cleaning. There was no room in the closet because all kinds of blankets and accessories are stored in it. The night drawer had to be cleaned. The bed was hard and grinding almost at every turn. The backpack did not work, even after five hours of cleaning, which was not immediately necessary, which was also a cold room in a room with a ventilator. The room's air conditioner and the room's emergency room were already in the room. We wanted to keep the room unpacked. The room was already unpacked and the room was unpacked.

Not recommended

We were delighted last year! this year... what a disappointment, especially since we had booked for 2 nights: everything is down: staff is no longer the same, reception is no longer the same, breakfasts are now somehow with industrial products, and no one.... take care of yourself with the small buffet, which was even smaller the next day! We had a little one with a view of the backyard..... depressing, but above all the PROPERTY room of the terrace is now more than a doubt! What a shame! You have to get up very quickly! One thing is up, the rate is 30% in a year!

Disappointed! Everything's been down since last year... except the fare!

We stayed three nights: it is in the central core of the jewelry village Buzet, Pinguente in Italian. Vela sterna is an archaic form to indicate the old cistern from which water was taken, today an evocative monument that stands in the center of the square where the bed and breakfast is located. Attention to the parking lot: we did not get out of the car in time to bring the suitcases to the room that is fined. The owner, Dalida, made it clear that it was cancelled, as they guarantee free parking for the bones. It is true that the places available in the square and in general in the village are fine. Buzette is delicious, but not a metaphorical hotel in comparison to the motel room.

It's quiet, cheap, very central, good breakfast, beware of parking.

Loved this place and highly recommend, particularly for the price. We stayed for one night randomly after change in travel plan and so pleased we did!
Amazing view from the window and room was very good. Buzet was beautiful too. 
Only downside is breakfast is probably a bit too basic but that didn’t affect our stay.

Lovely place in Buzet

A pleasant surprise! Both the beautiful village of Buzet and the establishment. The calm and charm of an old village and its picturesque alleys, far from the hustle and bustle of the coast, yet not very far away. A pleasant and well equipped room, with a good bed, overlooking a beautiful small square. An excellent meal at the restaurant, with a superb view. A super cozy lunch prepared by the housewife. Friendly and available staff. Super quality/price ratio in June.

What a pleasant surprise.

Great location on the old city and friendly host, but the rooms really need to be fixed. Some pieces of furniture were broken and there were traces of mould on the ceiling. The room was clean when we arrived, but nobody came for housekeeping during our stay (one week). 

Modest conditions 

We've been in this place for one night, a building from an old house in the heart of downtown, almost nonexistent staff, cold shower, good price, I think you can improve even if you just welcome customers.

I definitely recommend this B&B! Buzet is a very cute town to visit and this accommodation in the Old part of town is even cuter. :) Dalida was such a great host. Flexible and easy going for arranging our late arrival. The breakfast was amazing, home made food. The rooms were cosy, clean and very nice decorated. If you are traveling that area do not miss to visit and experience this B&B Vela Sterna.

Great hospitality & cute accommodation in a picturesque Old town of Buzet

We see good reviews on booking and had a good offer (35€ for 2 per night) but even if we are not fussy we were disappointed...

Accommodation not easy to reach, in the small village, really nice but tricky to drive in, especially if you have a big car !

We have the chance the owner was here as we arrived. We got a room in the 3rd floor, really steep and narrow stairs. The room got a great view and a small quite silent fridge  but that was all the positive aspects !
 
Room was quite hot and sunny as there were no shutters or obscuring curtains (wake up with daylight ) !!! The air conditioning device was just ventilation, not enough.
Room was not clean, dust, spiderweb and hairs on the floor and even on the bedsheets and towels !!
Broken and leaking shower cubicle...

Breakfast was good, with some homemade bread, fresh cheese and ham (and classical basics products) but no service and the bar / kitchen were also messy and dirty. 
No one stay for the whole time of breakfast For clearing table and taking care of refill!

Owners were rather nice but didn't look really concerned about the b&b and the clients (they also have a restaurant).

So, ok for one night if you want to stay in the old town and at this price but avoid 3rd floor rooms... otherwise there is lot of rooms and apartments in the surrounding area !
