Been there often as a restaurant guest, never seen their rooms though.
Place looks very nice on the outside, restaurant also on the inside. Inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. Cosy. Stuff is very nice.
Food is not very good, unfortunately. Considering it is a four star hotel, they should really work it out how to justify that.

How four stars?

We went here for a lunch (ten of us). Horrible experience. We waited for an hour for the food and when we got it, it was tasteless and cold. They apparently don't have a cook as I cannot imagine a cook would do such a poor job. Venison was hard as a tire, stew sauce was foul tasting, gnocchi were cold and almost raw. We returned it, but children luckily managed to eat some of the breaded meat....Never again in this restaruant

Horrible food

Dirty, old rooms. Very loud Outside at night. Loud fridge that is not working anyway, no kettle or coffee maker. Horrible bed and smelly rooms. 

One has to take the stairs with all their luggage and kids to get to the rooms.The hotel looks like a mental hospital from USSR. 

The staff is nice and friendly though.  

You would be better off booking a smaller hotel for cheaper as this hotel clearly does not give value for money . 

To avoid at all cost!

In Italy it would be a maximum of 3 stars, this hotel without great claims. On the way to Plitvic, it is in the center of the town. News: reception on the first floor, without elevator. Room quite large but poorly furnished, with small bathroom and semi-open shower cabin and consequent danger of flooding. Poor dinner, with water with residues of carrots and hairs and roasbeef.

Too many stars

Hotel near the E71 motorway, in the centre of Ogulin. It occupies a double room on the first floor and a double room on the second. Nice and clean rooms. Unfortunately at the reception we were not notified that there would be a wedding party.

Passing by

Incredibly slow service. Waited for a soup for 45 minutes. Soup was not homemade but from a store... 
Don't do something if you can't do it at least on an average level...we are not comming back

Only decent Hotel in Ogulin and in the area. Good hotel in a very center of Ogulin.Rooms are bit outdated but comfy ,staff is very professional and very friendly.Hotel is in the very old building and you can just feel the history of the place.

On a very positive note, all I remember is the large shower with a good water supply... the rest of it stays in sufficient quantity, from dinner to breakfast.

It's only good as a transit... a town lost in the middle of nowhere...

Hotel in the center of town, very simple and spacious, essential, clean rooms, average dinner, professional and friendly service, typical international breakfast both sweet and salty, hotel pass, I don't think I'll go back...

A hotel by the way.

We requested a family room for 4 people but when we entered the room there were only 3 beds. When we asked the receptionist they said they would prepare the fourth bed while we were having dinner. When we entered the room the fourth bed was made on a sofa with the dirty sheets in the middle (hypothetically peeing). We ask that they be replaced. In the first room the air conditioner commanded by the receptionist had been turned on, unfortunately there was no one in the receptionist anymore. Because it was too cold we all had to sleep in one room. Chicken on the cake at 6am started to sound the alarm.
