We visited this hotel twice, in June 2022 and June 2023. It was nice to get there early. A very nice girl on Irene's recipe, thank you for her professionalism and quick resolution of the issues that arise. A clean hotel, rooms small but clean, beautiful new laundry and towels, new modern fans, a clean warm pool, excellent honest waitresses.

Sirena is a nice place in Podgor

We had a half board. Breakfast was less than basic or really poor: white bread, cheese, sossage, cold scrambled eggs, yoghurt, cereals, apples. Dinner was instead of promised buffet a three course meal witch one had to choose the night before from choices of fish, meet, chicken. Drinks did not include the buffet, and most of the evenings the waitress forgot to come and ask for our orders for drinks. Promised massage services were not available. Location was excellent and the staff was friendly. Chef should be replaced with someone who knows how to cook, and the owner should not be so cheap about the supplies. Pigeons were a really big problem, balcony was dotted with poop - cleaners did wash them off, but the issue just renewed.

Could be such a nice place, but...

At the end of the touristic part of the road along the water You find this hotel, so the location is real nice. Across the street is the sea. Most of the rooms have a balcony against the sea, choose one of those. But it is allowed to smoke on the balconies! 
I don't recommend dining in the restaurant. There are a lot of them with good seafood along the road.

The location is excellent

The hotel and its rooms are equipped with modern furnishings. Coffee-brown tiled floors, beautiful beds, furniture, very good bedding, bathrooms too. However, there are no holes in the walls for jackets, etc. as well as storage areas for various items (such as suitcases), there is no chair. Everything is very modern but a little impractical. The staff is very friendly and friendly.

It's a modern hotel, nice rooms.

Hotel single room the worst I have ever had..small and stifling and very compact..no room to move or nil view...bathroom could hardly move with shower very small.  I asked for a room change and prepared to pay..was told hotel was full...but the GM made a very rude sexist remark about traveling alone..which is not worth repeating. It was totally unacceptable and uncalled for.  I have been in the tourism industry for over 40 years and never met someone so over familiar and rude in dealing with a simple request.  His comments were not pleasing to hear ....he spoke in a language I did not understand but it was repeated to me later ...if had known had that time what he had said he would have received a slap in his face!

Disgusting General Manager...need behavioral training!

The superlative location made us choose this hotel and the proposal to include the dinner seemed convenient to us....the first proposed room was really a hole without a view so we chose the beautiful sea view which is larger but also more expensive...the dinner has a scarce vegetable buffet and a soup that does not taste the taste follows the dish chosen from the three proposed dishes ordered in the afternoon...the bed has only the sheets under the rest you have to put it...basic breakfast (boiled eggs (green) unbreakable coffee cut dark) Accommodation to the reception guy very good but the rest of the staff are bad...the pool is useless as we see the pigeons and cats swimming...

High prices, low quality

We stayed in this hotel because it was in a beautiful location in front of the sea. Young and efficient staff, they found us a safe accommodation on bicycles.  The discreet room with air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, shower... a little bit scarce with bath products. We just wanted overnight and breakfast, but the offer included dinner at 110€ in two. The good price, dinner a little scarce. They asked us to choose between some dishes first, and that was already understood. Fortunately in buffet salad... Mini Swimming pool absolutely to avoid because pigeons bathed. Fortunately the sea is really beautiful!

Bicycle tour 2019

We were 7 ladies in the age from 19 to 74 years, travelling from Sweden on a  Holliday we really looked forward to.
The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful upon arrival when we didn’t received rooms close to each other, it was easily fixed a few hours later. 
The rooms are nice with a stunning spectacular view over the ocean. Never in my life have I become so happily surprised. 
The hotel pool is a bit small but the access to the beach is luxurious. A small stony beach with crisp blue water!
Overall this was a fantastic stay and we will be back for sure. Thanks!!

Lovely hotel

Great location just off the main strip.  The hotel is close to everything most importantly the beach.  The hotel area, pool, and rooms are always clean.   Wait staff and housekeepers are always friendly and engaging.  The housekeepers greeted us more than the front desk (they need to have more enthusiastic people at the front desk or at least a hello when you walk into the hotel). The GM in previous years had been engaging and proactive with the guests. The GM is the same I might add.  I barely got a hello back when I said dobro dan twice the first day I saw him. The times I did see him he was eating in the back of the dining area or drinking coffee on his phone.  The food was beyond disappointing from breakfast through dinner.  I felt like my family and I were eating food from a kids summer camp.  Nothing really fresh or flavorful.  The soups were awful specifically the lentil soup, you should never half puree lentils it causes a flavor that resembles burnt wood and ashes.  Also last night's chicken noodle soup was poor quality and definitely from a bag or can bought in.  Stop serving meatballs please the ones we got were served were freezer burned (one meatball was white in the middle) and tasteless.  Also three tiny meatballs is not a portion size.  Veal was very poor quality and lacked the tenderness you get with veal. Serve quality pork if veal is pricey.  Deserts were another failure chocolate pudding without flavor or another night they just served a few plums for desert nothing else.  I could go on and about the poor food but I won't. I would like to add this is not my first stay here and definitely not my family's first visit as we have been coming here for decades, even before it was a hotel.  I would give my feedback to the GM face to face but judging by the way I had to drag a hello out of him I don't think he will be asking how my stay went.  Checking out tomorrow and without some change we won't be checking in again next summer holiday.

Great location and clean facility!

I have been coming to Podgora with my family for the last 20 years. The staff is amazing,all the cleaning crew, wait staff and the front desk personal. Ready to help and always friendly and smiling!!
The only reason I'm giving it 2 🌟 is that for the first time ,in 20 years the chef needs help in that kitchen!!
For the price you pay to stay here,you shouldn't be getting cheap, cafeteria canned style food.
I hope they fix this because I really love this place and wanna see it do great!!!
