We are a family of four and we live in a small apartment with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a small cooking corner, but with everything necessary; everything very nice and very clean. Beautiful and well-kept outdoor area. We ask if you can have breakfast and in the morning at 7.10 (almost because we want to get to the park around 8.00) Mara, the smiling and available housewife, always makes us, on the outside table under the pergo, find a very rich breakfast, both sweet and salty. Obviously we can't consume everything and Mara invites us to prepare sandwiches and take the remaining brioches.

Very pleasant stay

Heading to Plitvice Lakes and need a place to stay? Look no further! We have stayed in a lot of B&B’ (with alot of lovely hosts), but Mara was a standout!

It was raining lightly when we got there but she was keeping an eye out for us. She ran across the street with a big smile on her face to welcome us and promptly made us feel at home! Room was small but comfy - bed was one of the best in our 22 night trip...but Mara and her breakfast feasts were enough to make us book with her again if we are ever lucky enough to be in the area again! Worth the €8 a person (especially considering how affordable the room was) - so much delicious food that she made sure we packed up lunches to take with us! And it was all tasty - we have regretted not having our “breakfast fairy” for longer. 

She was also so happy we tried speaking Croatian and taught us a few new phrases. Overall lovely stay and she really made our visit that much more special! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

One of the friendliest B&B Stays Ever!

Mara's excellent reception, very clean rooms and toilets, very warm and pleasant place.

Charming home with very good advice and incredible kindness. Comfortable family rooms, spacious with a good livery. Lovely bathroom. Supplemental but very complete breakfast with an excellent price ratio. A very nice address, 10 minutes from the National Park.

Super hotel, very well located house

Situated in the beautiful part of Croatia near LAke Plitvice. We stopped by for a night. Nice hosts and quiet. Excellent breakfast for 4 people for only 25 Euro. Highly recommend it for people passing by and visiting Plitvice, which is only 7-8km away. There is an excellent BBQ dinner in the restaurant near by.

Lovely place B&B

Lovely small hotel with a great breakfast and an amazingly lovely woman as the host. Location is also super in terms of being close to the park as well as restaurants. If we are ever going to the park again, we would definitely stay here again.

Great litle hotel with cute hostess

Mara was very sweet and accommodating. She made a delicious breakfast for our family including eggs, crepes, cereal, coffee, cheeses and sliced meats. So good.

We came with our two kids and stayed in a two bedroom suite that was well appointed and very comfortable. 

Highly recommend.

Wonderful host, great accommodations close to the park

This charming inn is the perfect place for visiting the Plitvice National Park area! The host Mara was lovely, kind and made us feel very welcome even though we weren't able to arrive until 10 p.m. because of our friend's flight in Zagreb. I highly recommend her guesthouse!

Wonderful stay!

I stayed twice at this guesthouse during the trip to Croatia.
It proved a perfect choice.
I was welcomed by Mara, the owner, who was very friendly and helpful.
The room was very clean, large, quiet and with a view to the garden and the fields.
The breakfast (for a reasonable fee), was huge, with a large variety, fresh and tasteful.
There is ample private free parking, and there is fast WiFi.
The guesthouse is located a very convenient 10 min drive to the Lakes Plitvice and The Caves.
I recommend at least a 3 night stay if you want to visit Lake Plitvice’s high and lower area (walking tracks and lake crossing taking the lake boats).
There are also many nearby attractions for active vacationing and for children.
I very much enjoyed the stay at House Leonarda – thank you Mara.

It proved a perfect choice.

Our accommodation was on the ground floor and consisted of two separate rooms with a hallway and a bathroom (beautiful, clean and newly renovated). We had very comfortable beds and adequate temperature despite the lack of air conditioning and it was quite hot outside. Outside we had a large breakfast table with panes. Breakfast was very good, plenty of sports: crackers, eggs, French toast, sausage, cheese, cereal and tomatoes.
