Honestly, I did not have such a bad hostel experience for a long time. I came late in the eve (announced) and my bed was taken by others. Reception not available. I met people from another room, who were so kind to let me sleep in their room (they shared a bed together because of me then). the hostel made me pay anyway and gave me a „discount“ from approx 2€. Really disappointing! And on top of that the stove didnt work

No bed for me when I arrived

This hostel was in a great location, the staff were friendly and it had a great little outdoor area/bar. The rooms were all very clean and comfortable when I was here, we had no experience of bed bugs.

A good hostel

We stayed in a 4-bed dorm with ensuite bathroom, which was very useful. The room and the lockers for your luggage were definitely big enough. The location is also a large plus, close to the bus and train station as well as to the city center. However, the kitchen/common area was very small and we had some noise from the street and from the room above ours. 

Good enough

Pros:
It is a well locates place. It saved us so much time, so I am happy with that. We booked a private room and they gave us a room in a house in a quiet street which was lovely.  We had a kitchen to share with another room. I wasn't expecting this, so it was a plus. The bathroom had a no problem but don't expect a fancy one. 
Cons:
They gave us a sofa bed which was really very uncomfortable! I wasn't expecting the most comfy bed in the world but the "sofa bed" was below expectations.
They accept only cash for the payments.

It has pros and cons

Definitely not worth the price you pay. Our shower head wasn’t attached to the wall, bathrooms mouldy. Top bunk the mattress doesn’t fit the bed super uncomfortable. It is in a great location. Kitchen isn’t really a kitchen super small only one element works. In our room we have a washing machine that we aren’t aloud to use just the staff which they come through and put 2-3 loads on every day. Quite a young vibed hostel. 

Not worth the price 

Don’t even consider staying there. Nobody is prepared for what awaits you!!

*Bedbugs in mattresses
(Cleaners & owner is aware of it and does nothing— told me its baby bedbugs as the bite marks all over my body is small)
*Used Sanitary products stacked in heaps beside toilets
*wet and soiled bathroom floors all over bathroom, throughout the day
*torn, stained bed sheet supplied- see photo

WARNING!!  BEDBUGS, WROTTEN & FILTHY

Only stayed here for 1 night in a 4 bed dorm. Excellent staff, were very helpful. And you can leave your bag for 10kn. The room had an ensuite which was very clean as was the room. Fully equipped kitchen, and the hostel also offers a laundry service. The shop is 1 min and the main bus station and ferry port is a 10 min walk away. Just across the road is the old city centre 

Good clean hostel 

In our room were bedbugs. The owner knows about the problem but doesn’t want to take action. 

The only good thing about the hostel is that it is located in the city centre but it is dirty, you can’t cook and the pictures dont show the reality

Warning Bedbugs!!

The location, quality, price and everything else was perfect. BUT I was totally (I mean totally) stung by bedbugs! I do not recommend unless You want to scratch Your face, neck, back and arms. :( It's a pity because other things were great.

Watch out! Bedbugs!

The hostel its self is very tight and basic, the air con hardly worked and you needed the windows open to get some sort of air so then you were hearing all the drunks at 3am outside. Other than that it did the job for what u paid for, the staff was always friendly, i met some awesome people who i am now friends with for life, so you take the good with the bad.
