Hotel does not have heating, it is freezing cold, called reception twice already but they do not heat, bath fan dryer is not working, would really recommend to avoid this place unless you are a poor dorm fan

We were looking for a spontaneous accommodation option. We stopped and asked about the price. Since we were just looking for a quick place to stay for the night, we only asked about the price. It was too high for us, and the owner personally offered us a better room for the same price. Then he acted like in the bazaar. This was not interesting to us. He spontaneously started arguing with my partner, became rude and vulgar. We left the hotel. When we left the yard, he waved provocatively from the covered terrace/cafe.

They wanted to stay overnight, they gave up.

The hotel is quiet and quiet, it seems unpopular. We enjoyed its location in the city, free car parking. Breakfast is plentiful with reasonable choice. The room has standard equipment, everything worked well during our two nights; heating, shower, toilet. The décor is basic, but we come to Vinkovci for business or family, not for vacation. Cibalia is a good choice, and the staff is very helpful.

two good nights

Recall from 2008. Having tried other hotels in Croatia, I can say that the Cibalia was on top in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Traveling for work was also important to find a near-familiar environment with access and availability of the kitchen as well. It was possible to direct the cook in recipes and in the purchase of products. Instead the TV service was a disaster. Breakfast was typically eastern, with wurstel, eggs, jams, sliced butter, fruit.

A good memory

It's a small hotel with about 20 rooms, which now shows signs of age and heavy use. It's definitely overpriced as it no longer offers the quality of a time. The rooms should be completely restored in the bathrooms, furniture and curtains. Even the room doors should be replaced with other soundproofed ones. The TVs are from the '80s frankly inadequate, with a paired DVD player but no CDs. Really scarce mattresses and cheeks. There's no internet point. Breakfast is dramatically poor, with the smells of the kitchen spreading all day in the two floors of the hotel, giving guests a feeling of nausea.

She needs a lift.

Vinkovci's main target is business travellers, because Vinkovci is not necessarily a tourist destination, it does not have a large selection of acceptable accommodation options. One of them is this hotel. Although there are no stars, I would place it in category 3. Rooms are small but clean. Internet is available in every room, with a little negotiation, you can also use it for free.
