nice clean room. breakfast was quite good. very close to the city center. however, there was no fridge inside the room. no microwave oven either or even an electric kettle. so if you go hungry in the middle of the night you don't have a choice a but to wait until breakfast. also there are no cafes nearby. wifi kept dropping and was really slow. over all a good place to stay. would recommend this place

perfect stay in brno

+ The room was big, and our bed was very comfortable, modern and clean. We slept well, which was the most important thing. The room was very lightful, as it had big windows, which we liked. Breakfast was good. It had all we needed: coffee, toast, omelette, juice. There was also soup for breakfast which was a funny detail. 

+The staff was kind but unfortunately their level of English is not so good. The person in the reception was kind to show us around the building and parking. 

+ parking was safe and easy. We could see our car from the window of our room, which was nice. 

+ this hotel is close enough to go to the city/old town. We enjoyed the walk.. We didn’t need to use any public transportation or car. 

- However, other furnitures (than the bed) were very outdated. Also the floor was very sticky! Like something sticky had been poured on it. We also found a piece of chocolate from the floor next to the bin. 

- the area didn’t seem too safe. I would not come here with kids or as a solo traveller, especially if i would need to arrive during dark. 

- Also, we only got one key, and as we were both busy on our own and the reception (and the gate) were mostly closed, it was some work to schedule our gate openings.

Not the best, not the worst!

We stayed 2 nights in the quad. It's like in the photo, it's underneath, with skylights, room wide. Bathroom okay. No fridge. No phon. Discrete breakfast, a few sweet things. Free indoor parking. It's about 10/15 minutes walk from downtown, but the area isn't the best. We always took the car.

Quietly clean.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. It was a very large room, we found ourselves in a shed, and I must say it made the room even more beautiful. It was a spacious bathroom with a large shower. It was a free and secure interior parking lot, about 20 minutes' walk from downtown. Very kind staff, available for any clarification. The only problem was that in the morning we found no one to pick up our keys.

A short stop

The hotel is cc 15 minutes walking from the city centre, in an industrial area. Tram station is close to the hotel.
The room was big enough, comfortable. Breakfast was from table, that was enough. The price-value rate was right.

A nice hotel in Brno

They don't make your bed, the shower doesn't drain the water, and breakfast is one of the most miserable I've ever seen.

Pityful.

First of all, those who book here must get used to the following circumstances: - the hotel (rather than a boarding house) has only check-in times between 16:00 and 21:00 It is important to know if you want to arrive earlier - breakfast is served in a rather slender buffet form, the coffee comes from a vending machine like many places and is creepy - there is NO air conditioning! (in the high summer months it can get very hot in Brno!) - city visits should be by taxi (for 4 people we paid CZK 130, or trambahn (line 4 from Kornerova, easy drive to downtown CZK 25), since the coffee shop seems not to be the safest place (industrial coffee) in the evening and it is rather awkward to stay in a hotel.

Easy accommodation

We stayed for one night in this lovely little boutique.

Heligonky means "Accordion" in Czech and the hotel has a lot of interesting paraphernalia to the accordion (including a very interesting ceiling in the restaurant- look out for that one :))

Perfect for the one night layover we had there- the area is a bit run down with a strong Slovak community, but we had no issues walking around at night and felt completely secure the whole time.

Easy to get to on the trams from the train station, and 10- minute walk into the city centre.

Room was in the attic with lovely original features- thoroughly clean and plenty of room.  Also had the giant Czech pillows that every household over here is graced with (they are MASSIVE).

Staff were cool, courtyard a real sun trap to enjoy Starobrno in the warmth (at 95p/pint).

Breakfast wasn't to my liking, but I am a Brit after all ;P

Would stay again if ever in Czechia's second city!

Relaxed and Different

The hotel is located near the center, about 300 m away is a large Albert store. The boarding house is full of gypsies, walking is not very comfortable.

A good boarding house for overnight stays.

We went to Brno from Prague for the weekend, we needed a cheap hotel near the center to stay, shower and have breakfast. It's a good hotel, something like a motel. The reception is only open during the day, so with the settlement it's better not to drag until the evening. The rooms are pretty good, really for a weekend trip. The area around here is a little strange - there's a lot of garbage and some strange things whether Romanians or Latinos go. But we didn't find any adventure.
