Nice and clean apartments with kitchen and fridge
5 mins walk from most of the springs, 10-15 mins from Masaryk boulevard.
Sauna exists in the building.
Only the bed pillows are rubbish and the elevator is half floor up or down because the building is old.


Very nice apartments for good price!

I must say I am a bit shocked by the below reviews. My experience was spectacular. Coming from a hotel business, I notice the smallest detail.
Communication before my arrival was swift and friendly. Check-in was by Martin and one lady and both of them were VERY friendly.
Freek parking, free upgrade to a better apartment and fantastic location.
My apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean and with a balcony. Bed was a bit hard for me but I am sure others will appreciate that.
I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone who is visiting KV and does not like the hassle of hotels.

Awesome place with even better service

We stayed with friends in these apartments in May 2016. Our choice was a wonderful addition to the May Karl Varm. The wonderful location - a minute's walk to the Snake and Garden fountains and the main Karlvark promenade. Clean, spacious, beautifully furnished rooms. Breakfast and lunch can be at the Skelpik Cafe, 30 meters from the apartments. Now dinner is a separate topic in another rubric.

A wonderful vacation.

The apartment is located in the very center of Warsaw on a very beautiful and quiet street with fountains, it is very convenient to drink water 3 times a day. In the apartments, there is always everything necessary for life, and if you have questions, then you can quickly decide on the price of a drink in the apartment, which is convenient to eat in the apartment, but there is no shortage of food and drinks in the apartment, which is convenient for you to eat in the apartment, but there is no shortage of food and drinks in the apartment.

The golden autumn in Varah

Lady at desk ran out to the parking and did not believe we had a reservation until we showed her. We were told to follow her into a room which also had another couple in it. The couple were frustrated and I could tell she had told them they could have our room in another language. We were downgraded a room but had the room rate down 50%. But, this was rude nevertheless. No phone and one music channel on tv. Plus, this was only after we told her we wanted to see the room before we paid since she downgraded our room.the level of rudeness was enough for me to NEVER come back and if we were staying for any length of time, I would have walked out.

Poor at best

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in April. We booked two rooms - 1 and 2 rooms, both with breakfast. It turned out that there was no breakfast (cancelled, but we were not warned in advance). For the inconvenience we were delivered, we were offered one of the rooms improved. The room was wonderful - giant, with high ceilings, clean, beautiful. The second - small and on the mansion floor.

This place is for you if you like a quiet, private stay and if you don't mind missing out on a regular hotel level service. Speaking Russian is a huge advantage here as staff is Russian speaking with limited knowledge of English (goes for the rest of the town by the way).
What differs this place from a B&B is huge, modern and comfortable suites that most hotels would envy. You will enjoy the rooms.
Pluses: central yet quiet street, parking places in front of the building (make sure to notify them in advance), beautifully renovated building inside / outside. Great rooms, modern bathroom, nice breakfast.
Minuses: lack of English speaking staff, reception is mostly closed (no late check in), irregular room cleaning, unreliable WiFi.
Hence: if you just want a really nice room in a beautiful location - go for it. If you like extras and need stand by reception support - choose a bigger hotel. 
Handy tip: make sure to re-confirm rates and additional costs / discuss payment means in advance. Cash is appreciated, credit card will be charged with a higher exchange rate.
All in all friendly, pleasant experience but some unexpected and unnecessary issues.

It depends...

My husband and I came to this hotel for a very quiet and relaxing weekend. We chose the suite, room 5. Upon entering, it was huge and nice! When we returned later to go to sleep, we noticed there were no sheets on the bed, just a mattress pad! We had to sleep on the mattress pad since the hostess was no where to be found and there was no phone in our room. Our room was also never turned over, and we didn't even have an extra toilet paper. We never saw our hostess until check out, so we couldn't request sheets or clean towels. The sauna was also locked tight the entire weekend, again, with no one to ask if we could use it as advertised. So strange and disappointing.

Great location, huge suite, but things were "off"

The hotel is new, well situated on a quiet street. The fountains and spa centers are nearby. Simple rooms with living room and bedroom. The bedroom windows were in the courtyard. The staff are friendly and responsive.
