The single beds which are for children but are joined together to make a double. The issue is a gap of a foot in between. The slats are not secure so you just fall down when you go on the bed. The toilet seat moves off, it's broken and needs fixed. The bath tap is loose, it falls off and in my case cut my toe. Very dangerous. The kettle has slime growing inside it. The curtains are black with dust and dirt and the bed sheets are ripped and dirty. If you want to cook you need to get a cleaner to come and fix the cooker as it's disgusting. It's not been cleaned for a while. The pots are unclean and rusty. The standard is very poor and on arrival you cannot get inside the property as there isn't anybody there.

Worst apartment ever

The receptionist took advantage of the language barrier to get us to cancel Booking.com and pay for the amount of the stay in cash. It wasn't uncommon since during the first night we noticed bed bugs invading us! We tried to contact the emergency number  all night, then we spent the next night in the lobby of the hotel without sleeping! The next day we finally got someone on the phone who wasn't worried about so many calls missing and wasn't shocked by the number of bugs.

Invasion of bedbugs

This is the first time I've ever encountered this kind of hotel behavior! I find this approach to customers horrible and rude! I booked a room a month before I left. A week before I left I got a letter from the hotel that your card shown when booking is invalid (though I pay her every day and other hotels withdraw the amounts without any problems). I called the hotel in the evening, no one answered the phone, I tried to book my number again, and it's NO! That is, the hotel just deleted my booking and gave the number to someone else.

The hotel canceled the reservation a week before the trip.

no contact phone to call back when you came late because your flight is delayed more than one hour, nobody answered, wrong phone numbers on entrance doors, manager not answering a phone call also next day. When I booked a hotel, I wrote my arrival would be after 9:00 PM. Unfortunately my flight delayed more than one hour. When I turned my phone on when we landed, I had missed call from hotel. When I came  there, everything was closed, so I tried to contact and dialed the phone numbers on doors with no answer. I have waited there more than one hour till midnight. They left us outside, homeless. The money were transfered before, also they have asked for additional 15 euro because I wrote I will come later. I was forced to find another accomodation. The next day I came there to discuss the problem, their irracional arguments made us very upset. Never happened before when I have travelled through booking. We want our money back. They could have text us a short message with contact or sth, but they gave up. I can not call from plane. Never again.

this place is so cool and cozy to stay with.. i would recommend to my friends and family who will be visiting prague... the staffs are friendly and very accommodating. the comm on kitchen is so clean and the bathrooms as well.


sanctuary in the heart of a city

Guest-friendly art hotel Bed & Books. - Location (centre, 5 minutes to the old town). - Cleanliness of rooms and toilets. - Having everything necessary to arrive. - Beautiful view from the window. - There are many non-expensive cafes and restaurants nearby, an adequate exchange and food in 10 minutes walk. - On the street of the hotel is a russian-speaking cottage-restaurant, where delicious Ukrainian/Russian cuisine. - In the hotel are nice receptionists and responsive service staff. - In the rooms are plenty of space, and cozy design, quality mattresses on the floor... about.. minutes. - This is a very precise and high-quality bed, which can be found in the center of the city.

The charming Prague

In our Euro Trip 2018,we had decided to be in Prague for 3 days. After a lot of research we had booked Bed and Books art Hotel.The reasons for booking were many, like good reviews on booking.com, very close from Prague florenc bus station, located in the city center and beautiful pictures.
We arrived at the hotel and got a warm welcome from the receptionist. She was very sweet. Helped us with our luggage as well. We had booked room with private bathroom. The room was very beautiful, very well done.Very Minimalist. The bathroom was very very clean. We had access to the kitchen as well. Fruits were kept for the guests.
There is a currency exchange outlet, super mart and a nice cafe at a stone throw distance from the hotel. Also, The local transport is also just 2 mins walk from the hotel.
Had a great time staying in this Hotel.I would recommend this hotel to people who have plans to visit Prague.

A Beautiful Place to Stay in Prague

I had booked months in advance via Booking.com. But 4 days before I left they cancelled my booking from the office for an invalid credit card (visa used before and after everywhere without any problems).

They canceled my last booking for no reason.

Very well located, very close to the centre! Good address, I recommend. As for the rooms, they are clean, the bathroom is right! But you have to share it unless you are traveling with a group of friends and you privatise the floor squarely! Good price! This is the right plan for a few days in Prague

Nice address in Prague.

I'll start with the fact that it took us more than a week to pick up our place in Prague. We arrived early, the reception is open from 10.00, so we didn't have a happy walk around with the suitcase. In other words: the bus stop or wait can be easily reached in 10-15 minutes like us. The girl at the reception: The day of the meeting in the kitchen: the day of the meeting in the room 12.) We probably left the restroom with a very convenient item in the bathroom.
