This is a great guesthouse located in the nicest area in Guayaquil. The insides are really pretty, with a very particular, large half-open hall that is the centre of the house. It's worth staying there just to see the rooms! Also, during some months Arnaldo -- the very nice and fun host -- transforms the place into a venue for exclusive events ranging from plays to stand up comedy, which lets you imagine what this place has to offer. Definitely recommend it!

Cool spot!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Cino Fabiani for just under a week. The guesthouse is in the best area of Guayaquil, walking distance from what most people tend to do around the city. Arnaldo is a really great owner - super relaxed, accommodating, and prompt with communication. It was crazy hot when we were passing through, and he made sure we were well equipped with fans and mosquito repellent each night. He’s done an incredible job with the space - it’s big, but well decorated and full of art. We were also lucky to be there when he was hosting a stand-up comedy show. Admittedly we had a hard time following along, but still a cool experience! Thanks again, Arnaldo!

Highly recommended!

We stayed here because of all the rave reviews and I really dont know why. Yes it is old with character but more on the shabby side than historic. It is a beautiful old building and looks fabulous on the outside but it is really run down on the inside, furniture is very junky, but it is cheap for a nights accommodation and easy walking distance to lots of things. My biggest grip with the whole place was people sat at a table in the lounge room which was right outside my bedroom and smoked all night and it constantly woft into our room. Im a non smoker and was a bit shocked by this.

Could be so beautiful with a little more TLC

Very nice place, super cozy and more if you travel alone, there are very nice and warm people who make you feel like you are at home. super recommended and is close to all the places to go for a walk XD

I'm very happy with it.

Clean, safe, great breakfast. Easy enough to find. Places nearby to walk to eat. Low key, soothing atmosphere and great music on the record player! Warm showers and wifi that works! I would recommend!

Would stay again

There's not much separation and the doors are glass. It's hard to travel as a couple but the rest is super nice!! The staff is very friendly, the water is very warm. The neighborhood is beautiful, super quiet. The theater activities in the Hostel are very good. Fortunately there is no TV!!! They should put more books and exchange. And they should get some more seats!!

Cino Fabiano Guesthouse is located in Las Peñas. It is a great. Place to stay when in Guayquil. You are right where many bars are at nighttime. It is a bit noisy at night but besides that it is an interesting place to stay. Staff was great!

I only stayed one night, but I loved this hostel, a very well-located house, with large, clean rooms and a spacious and comfortable living space.In addition, the staff were super friendly and had a well-equipped kitchen and drinking water.I recommend it 100%, one of the best hostels I have found in South America.The only but is that I ordered a taxi through them to get to the airport very early in the morning, and it never arrived...

Original and brilliant.

Cino Fabiani is an excellent place for the beauty and the philosophy of the hostel owner. It is a beautiful place that is perceived for art. In las Peñas, where it is located, one breathes history as it is located in the very place where Guayaquil was founded. The hostel is located within the regenerated area of the city, you will feel safe; in addition, if you like sports there is a Malecón wing where you can stroll, and walk along the river. The staff is warm, the bathrooms are always clean and there is a very nice sitting room to read. Since the place is special, it is necessary to be a guest at the height of the place.
