The city center. Nearby is a park with iguanas, a waterfront, shops, cafes (but the cafes aren't really much, you still have to look for them in the center). The presence of an air conditioner, a refrigerator, an elevator. By the status of the hotel - you feel safe. Bathroom, shower, toiletries. Clean bedding. Windows, walls, floor are not in perfect condition and places are already age-old dust. Not very nice staff (exaltedly communicated and could not catch a taxi, we caught ourselves).

Next to the iguana park

It is nice to come to a hotel that meets and somewhat exceeds expectations (i.e. what we read on internet and reviews).
The hotel is a bit worn but this was as well expected. Personnel really kind. Walking distance to Malecón and for us (that like walking) also to Isla Santay.
If I can recommend some improvements I would suggest more fresh fruits for breakfast.
A price worthy hotel choice for central Guayaquil.

Perfect location

It is a central hotel that allows you to access the various tourist attractions of Guayaquil.You can walk, nearby is the Iguanas Park, el malecón, etc. The comfortable rooms.

Good service.

As I mentioned in my previous review, this hotel wins big on location and friendliness. That said, the wifi has VASTLY improved since my last stay and I got 15 mbps up and 20mbps down, take that, Hilton!

Stayed again, getting better

The hotel room is small but clean. The staff is very helpful and with English you've usually come a long way. The hotel is a little outdated, you look at the years and you shouldn't expect too much. Still, for the price it's quite good. The breakfast could have been a little more varied after four nights. (There's some chicken every morning, a little corner of ham and cheese, a loaf and a piece of fruit)

Old but clean

One of the worst experiences to have in this hotel is to have a small, comfortable room, which is nothing compared to what you see in the photos, and the reception staff and restaurant staff are also unqualified for hotel work and tourism.

A 1-star hotel that is said to be a 3-star.

Poor service, no Internet all day, old facilities for lack of maintenance, cold shower, lamp without lights, and to top it all off, the Reception Girl was very despotic and unable to solve problems.

This is a full-time position.

I don't know where I got the 4 stars that this hotel proudly displays, because I've actually been to 2 star hotels that are better than this one: the air conditioning is very noisy, the pillow cases are stained and the mattress case is small.The bathroom inlays are rusty and the restaurant where we dine is a room where they store eggs and vegetables.If you can avoid this hotel, there are several in the area.

A 4-star hotel that looks like a 2-star hotel.

The beds were bad, there were little towels, only two big ones. And most importantly, there was NO hot water, I went to the front desk and no hot water at all.

Hotel without hot water

We're talking about an old hotel. The technology dates back at least 20 years, the cleaning is desirable as is the service. I don't recommend it at all, although the price is lower than other city-class hotels.
