We decided to go with my family on vacation And we chose the Barceló hotel, the truth in person everything seemed excellent, the rooms, the views, the buffet, the food, the bar, the pool everything.

Traveling is much more than sightseeing, since it not only opens our minds, it teaches us other ways of life, other cultures, other customs, traditions, typical dishes of our beautiful country, it tests us and above all allows us to share beautiful moments. with the family.
For vacation 8 months  ago, I traveled to Salinas with my family and we stayed at the Hotel Colón Salinas, I loved the great view of the sea and the breeze of the wind, I am a big fan of the variety of food that the Hotel offers and the comfort of its rooms, during my stay I could read a book while listening to very relaxed music in the comfort of the balcony where the sunset view was incredible. I can't stand the accumulation of tourists in small places but for the large and comfortable facilities of the Hotel It wasn't the case, watching the whales very close really makes me nervous but nevertheless it was a great experience that thanks to the guides of the Hotel I was able to live good times on the high seas.
I'm generally not a fan of suggesting that I visit Hotels, but I definitely recommend that you take the time to visit this place, not only because of the excellent service and prices it offers you, but also because you won't regret visiting it.

Excellent experience in a great Hotel

You can say that the hotel was located in the heart of salt flats and from each step along the malecon we can return to read and learn more about salt flats, enjoy a tasty breakfast or a satisfying lunch and be able to realize that it costs what it costs and is worth a chance to visit them.

Quality and good education of the receptionist and receptionists.

The worst all inclusive hotel experience of my life, the room with the sea window unlocked and when I asked for help with the subject because it was very dangerous, the receptionist's response was ma'am we have no maintenance staff could not help you, a very high potential risk since the glass was not tempered. The lock in the room did not work and I had to open with the master key every day. And all inclusive is a fairy tale, I ordered lunch off schedule and was charged every time I needed something to eat (cebiche). A total disaster. What a shame that people from other parts of the world see this kind of service.

The worst service ever.

The wifi didn't work, and the receptionists didn't want to fix it, so the door to the living room would knock to open, and breakfast and lunch would be great, but there would be no variety for dinner.

You could give more for the price.

You have to be more careful with what you serve.It's definitely a bad breakfast.and we paid 50.$ we went to eat at that hotel thinking about excellencies and it was worse than the restaurant on the corner.I can't believe a hotel like that has prisma food.

There is little variety in the buffet dining and lunch, but that's why the hotel itself has a good location and services such as swimming pools and snacks, drinks of all-inclusive genius, super-attent buttons at all times.

Perfect except for a small variety in the buffet.

Check in is at 3 and room was not ready. Asked to speak to a manager and it took 30 minutes and still did not get to talk to him. Food is terrible. Service is terrible .Avoid this place at all cost. We will never come back.

Our wonderful stay at Hotel Barcelo. Service was wonderful. Rooms were really nice and location was ideal. Couldn’t ask for anything more - and we’re going extremely picky!  Old fashioned but great gym. Felt very safe. Most staff could understand English. Access to main strip in Salinas was perfecto. Food was fine. We didn’t care for the hotel’s sushi restaurant.  All n all i’d give our experience an A++.

This is the only hotel with a decent infraestructure in Salinas. It is total outdated and lacks of refinement you would expect for such a priced fare. My opinion is that they take advantage of the lack of competition they have in the city. 
The beach and pools are ok no better than that and the F&B worse than that. Better to stay without all inclusive.
The hotel needs a makeover urgently as looks out of date in every single corner. Also the terrible noise from the fans and AC units can be heard clearly from the balconies, not sure who ever thought placing the AC equipment in the front of the hotel.
