It was a terrible choice
One of my friends was deceived by the photos and ads
But it turned out very disgusting 
Even the view is covered by trees , so no benefit staying here except for the low price
But it shouldn’t be considered 3 stars by any means

New Pola has a good location in the city but beyond that, it’s NOT a good place to stay. 
For starters, the servers act very cheeky with women. I was staying here with three other girls and we could sense the staff letching at us and ogling for no reason. 

The rooms have a terrible stink to them. The service is poor and overall the experience has been bad.  
On asking them to bring us two plates and spoons, the servers refused to get it. 
One of the waiters tried to overcharge us for water, 6 times the price. 
The staff is trying to con the guests into paying extra. 

Another female guest from Mexico was staying at the hotel alone and she shared that the she was scared of being alone at the hotel. That one of the waiters tried to harass her too. 

I wouldn’t recommend this place, specially not for single women. 

Strange Hotel

I had a completely different experience than others who have left negative reviews about this hotel, it's in a great location, not too far from Luxor temple & I found the staff friendly and helpful. My room was also comfortable, clean and with adequate air conditioning. Great value for the price with breakfast included

Comfortable stay, pleasant staff

First, this place is a complete dump. Second, while the daytime staff are nice, the evening/night manager is unbelievably rude and doesn’t want to be bothered with the property’s MANY problems because he’s too busy watching soap operas on tv in the office. Third, the WiFi in the whole hotel is absolute crap. Save yourself the trouble of rude night staff (when you tend to need things) and 1992-era WiFi and stay somewhere else in Luxor.

Rude Night Staff & Horrible WiFi

We used this hotel because we drove back from Aswan to Alexandria, so our stay was just meant to get a good night's sleep and continue our journey in the morning. It's an excellent hotel considering its low cost and the quality of the room. Nothing too special though, and it's quite annoying that the wifi only seems to work on the first floor. Nice bathroom. More than enough storage space. The beds are clean and they have an excellent matress. 

Your money's worth

Well,we select this hotel after watching photos,but it was total disappointment.
The manager and other team was too arrogant and not at all in welcoming mood.
No internet service was there and when we informed,one lady just ignored it,saying they can not help.
There was a locker which was not working and we ask them to fix it. One guy just told he will come after couple of minutes and fix it,but he never returned back.
Dollar to EGP rate was aweful and not as per online booking.
A very bad experience altogether,seems they are running out of business and really doesn't care about guest.
I will not suggest to stay here

Poor Managment,too much arrogant,No internet,please avoid

Location is good. At first I thought it to far from ferry, but we always walked and there are shared minibuses for virtually nothing, or horse carriages for 50 euro cent, or taxis for 30-50 euro cent. And center of town is too noisy. The hotel has Nile view on the front, but also a noisy street, we preferred garden view because it is quieter. Rooms have fridge, a balcony and good mattresses. Downstairs you can buy normal priced beer and drink that on your balcony. The room was fairly clean, not $100 clean, bur reasonable. Hot water is a maybe; in our garden view room only after letting the water run for 15-20 minutes, in our Nile view room immediately. Garden btw means a semi uninhabited area wit a few housing blocks or offices, some rubbish and maybe a tree or two. We did`t recognize it as garden, but it was quit. The hotel has a shallow swimming pool on the roof with deck chairs and a fantastic view of the Nile and the city. For if you need a break from the stress of the city, where everybody is your friend and wants to sell you something and doesn`t go away. Wen we were there his was the second cheapest hotel with a swimming pool on the east side of the river. Breakfast was limited, with instant coffee, tea, not so good bottle orange juice (I think), salad, yogurt, cheese, jam and not good white bread and a one egg omelette. For us acceptable. If you don`t require a luxury hotel, this is a really excellent deal where most of the essentials are good.

5 in relation to the price, 4 if price were higher

Location was good but breakfast was poor I asked for two eggs but was told only one egg allowed ... room was ok but noisy from traffic 24/7 plus unable to see the Nile because of trees in property opposite which desperately needed pruning 

Terrible breakfast 

We stayed 3 nights in new pola. the rooms are spacious and clean and the service is impeccable. the staff at the reception are able to access all requests. the rooftop swimming pool with a view of the nil is very pleasant given the warmth of Luxor. the location is perfect (a little 1 km from the city centre). the only small bemool would be on breakfast. we recommend it, good quality/price ratio.
