We would recommend this hotel to everyone who enjoys peace and quality. Great thought and care is placed to every little detail and it shows. Beautiful architecture, clean room and one of the best beds I have slept in. The highlight of the visit was the breakfast that among other things had fresh handmade bread, self-made ginger-carrot shot, great coffee and much more. 

We would recommend this place especially for couples and solo travelers looking for a escape and great value for their money. We preferred this place over many others we have visited lately. During the visit I had the privilege to meet the owner and she was lovely.

Would higly recommend, hidden gem in corner of Estonia 

It's a wonderful place, even though it's at the crossroads, it's quiet and fabulous, the friendly staff is always there to help, breakfast for five plus, cash out of the contest, nut bread is great, tea is great, thank you.

It's just a party!

We found this wonderful villa for ourselves when we traveled from St. Petersburg to Tallinn for the weekend. We were going out by car on a Friday night after work, so we decided to stop along the way in the village of Toila and at the villa Meretare. We read good reviews initially, but the reality exceeded expectations. We stopped in the Lux room with the fireplace. The room was great. We stayed with the family, it was very convenient to zone the room (2 separate beds in one part of the room and a double bed in the other part). The room itself is about 40 sq. There is also a living room with a sofa and a fireplace.

A beautiful villa and friendly hosts.

A kind of boarding house a very hospitable housekeeper and a woman who works in the household in my experience I can say that it is not meant for staying with children the absence of a TV and a toilet door makes the living not very comfortable at breakfasts a feeling of not being able to do so because the living is few and the food is limited.

Rest for the amateur

Pleasant and personal service, the hostess came to the door. The place itself was quiet and clean, in the style of a manor house. Breakfast was made personally for us and was quite rich, the dining atmosphere very pleasant, clean. A little unpleasant surprise was no TV in the room.

Lovely quiet hotel

A beautiful villa, located a few kilometres off th Tallinn - Narva road. A walk through the peaceful Oru Park leads you to the seaside in 15-20 minutes.
There is parking space next to the villa.
A very charming and friendly hostess, you feel very welcome.
I had a comfortable room with wooden floor, with desk and chair and  water cooker for making tea/coffee.   Good bathroom and a small hall / dressing for putting your stuff.
Breakfast was super, served buffet style with a lot of choice. The breakfast area is special too.
Highly recommended.


A lovely place to stay

Very nice and cosy place to stay when visiting East part of Estonia and best option while visiting Narva. Small "like a villa" atmosphere and warm staff makes you feel welcome. It's around 40km toward Tallinn. Amazing hostess and caviar for breakfast!

Worth to go again

My friend and I spent two unparalleled days at Villa Meretara, we were comfortable, calm, easy to get in and out without the worry of the owners. At the same time, strangers don't walk here. The wonderful old Oru Park is nearby. The bay and the beach are also there. And the beach is not crowded. Although the weather is warm and the beginning of summer. I advise everyone who wants peace and quiet...

A fabulous vacation at the villa.

A beautiful and lovely place 40 minutes away from Narva (RF_EST borders). A beautiful house with excellent interiors and friendly owners.

A pleasant revelation

We had to travel to Johvi and as we had to spend the night and could not find any place somewhat special there, we decided to book in Toila, which is next door and is more touristy. We arrived at night on a snowy and icy day and when we arrived, they came out to greet us, in the middle of the ice. Primer puntazo. Since there were not many more people, they gave us a large suite, with no extra cost, with their own fireplace. Second puntazo. We realized that we had forgotten toothpaste, we asked the girl and she lent us her own! That third was the best of all! As far as the house, it is an old-fashioned house, without becoming a manor, but it has a huge air. The room, the bed, the high-rise, the high-rise, and the high-rise.
