Street view apartment with slightly moldy smell. Overprized for the quality. Landlord with rude attitude upon arrival, when we decided not to pay the extra fee to "upgrade" for another apartment of a much better quality.

Disappointing    

I stayed here for a couple of nights in August with one friend of mine. The owners are lovely people and check in was instant. The place has such peaceful tranquility and offers a very nice view to the sea. The room had a kitchenette, bathroom and living room downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. There was also a cosy balcony with sea view. We stayed in room number 6. Tip: sitting in the gazebo in the warm summer night and looking at the sea and listening to the waves - nothing beats that! Will come back for sure!

Perfect peaceful getaway!

The place is wonderful, looks great from the outside. Inside the cottage was a bit sterile (prints from Thailand on the wall...?!) and lacked warmth. It's super clean and has everything you need. 
However, due to the poor build quality the sounds from the neighbours are heard loud and clear inside the cottage (we stayed in number 7 and the sounds from number 6 especially were like they were inside our cottage...footsteps, talking, everything....). A real shame as you don't come here to hear the neighbours....

lovely location on the sea

We have accommodated in a double room with two separate beds, one in a square and a half, the other normal; rather small room, as well as the bathroom, located on the second floor, in a basement. satisfactory cleaning. unplanned breakfast. free parking available in the inner courtyard.

All in all, all right.

we stayed at apartment 5. It was located above a garage or something like that. Accessible by a steep dark staircase. Small room under a roof, very small window, so no ventilation and very hot! Room outdated.

Clean, vefy comfortable and well equipped apartments, nice garden with many sittig palces by the sea. You can find slippers and bathrobes as well, but take your own barbecue, if you plan to grill something. 
There is a local store in 1,2 km.
If you don't want to cook, you can find a little pop-up restaurant La Veranda in Käsmu or a vefy good restaurant Mere38 in Võsu (about 6 km). The sandy beach is also in Võsu.

Beautyul and peaceful place

I am writing this rather late but I still want to add my positive memory about a wonderful time my husband and I spent in Merekalda Guesthouse.  Tip: book directly via website, it is cheaper!  We booked first for the two of us but our daughter joined us last minute for a few nights, that was not a problem at all.  Don’t come here if you expect entertainment from the owners.  For us they were perfect as for our jobs we connect with people of all kind day in day out.  In our holidays we try to reload our batteries and always look for some quiet days, listening to the sound of nature.  This was the perfect spot! It is so quiet here, so relax.  And if you need something, they will help you.  But the rhythm of contact is under your control and for us this was perfect!

The sound of nature

Yes, it is self-catering and we knew that before we booked and brought our food here for a delicious healthy dinner with a view to die for.  Very clean and cute little rooms.  Walked up the street to the park and did a hike around the town and the entire headland.  Amazingly gorgeous.  We were happy to have a rental car the ride is nice through the forest.  Fresh clean air.  Here in the Baltic region for a month and this is a great stop in Estonia and only an hour from Tallinn.  Recommend if you have time. 
Traveled a lot and climbing Kilimanjaro, an African Safari more entertaining.....but this is a peaceful vacation spot by the seaside to enjoy!   This is to people living in Tallinn their "Cape" vacation.  Spoke with some locals who homes they come to for the weekends in the summer, surprised to see people outside Estonia.  The staff here are very friendly and speak good English no problems communicating.

Love it!

A comfortable place in the national park, a large green area, quiet, there are bedding, mangal area, in the garden grow apples, boat rental 5th per hour, bike rental 10th per day. The house is small, 2 storey, wooden, all very cozy, beautifully furnished, there is a kitchen with good dishes, plate, refrigerator, toaster, teapot. On the bay of swans and chapili, in 10 minutes' drive of mushroom forest - in 1.5 hours gathered white and pick-up trucks, at the end of the village - pedestrian routes of several levels of complexity along the bay.

House on the wild side of the pond

We rented an apartment in this beautiful house, with a garden and sea views, swans in the water,...idilic, until you get close, as in many places in the Baltic the excess of seaweed that rots on the shores, does not invite you to sit by the water.
