We stayed for a night during our Archipelago Trail bike tour. We were allowed to put the bikes in our room. They have express laundry service for the cyclists. We really liked everything. We had super delicious waffles for the breakfast. Yummy.

Restaurant itself is clean and cosy. Staff is very kind.
Major plus for allergics is the fact that all waffels are gluten free!

Hotel and cafe Amandis is located right in the middle of Naantali - in between harbor and old church. The main building caters the cafe that has specialized on waffles with all kind of fillings - those we tried were delicious. The cafe has terraces and catered terrace overlooking nicely over the harbor and even President's summer residence over the bay. The reception of the hotel is located at the counter of cafe that causes occasional queuing. The 6 rooms are tastefully decorated, lately renovated and are located right behind the main building. The rooms are size wise large and bathrooms bright. Little attention to the details (i.e. big, good quality bath towels and good quality hand soap. Note that there is no a/c so in the warm days you may have to keep the windows open to the street behind. We woke up twice early in the morning due to lorries delivering goods to the restaurants and collecting rubbish. The breakfast was disappointment: although they told us that they do not offer real breakfast, but invited us to have something, at this price you would expect something decent (i.e. waffles). No they had coffee, tea and bread with cheese and ham. When you pay 200+ euros per night your expectation level is higher. However, strongly recommended.

Cozy & tiny hotel in the heart of Naantali

Stopped by for a quick waffle or two. The nutella variety I had was oh so good, as well as the apple waffle my companion enjoyed. The light drizzle didn't bother us at all as we munched away in silence, enjoying every gulp. Also worth to mention the carrot gin long drink they had, it was refreshingly new and thoroughlly enjoyable.

The service was outstandingly friendly and the waffles were extremely good. I can highly recommend the place for some drinks and waffles.

Excellent and friendly service, as well as great waffles

Whether you’re craving for salmon soup or soup made of game meat, or if you’re in for sweet waffles this is the place you got to visit. Friendly and cosy place, super-friendly staff and If the weather is nice, the view is really picturesque as well. A gem!

Best waffles around!

This notice is for the restaurant part of the establishment. A nice place with a nice view of the harbour. Fair prices for those who are a little hungry. I recommend the waffles with salmon and salad. At 12€, you will have a cheaper lunch break. Taste a few cakes and macaroni on the spot as well as a small selection of good beer (local and international)

Food tasting

We don't have bigger complaints - no luxury but simple, cosy, clean, comfortable. No breakfast included and the price through Booking.com was 165 euros /2 nights/2 persons so a little bit expensive.

I wouldn't probably stay here during the high season for two reasons : the noise from the street must be high, and the room does not get dark enough when summer in Finland. I would stay here again in the fall or winter.

Basic, comfortable, clean

Hotelli Amandiksessa nautit mitä ihanimmat vohvelit. Emäntä on välitön ja todella ystävällinen. Piharakennuksessa olevat majoitustilat ovat siistit ja kodikkaat. Myös oman lemmikin (koiran) voi ottaa mukaan. Huoneita ei ole montaa mutta palvelu ja sijainti ovat Naantalin parhainta ! Viihdyimme hyvin ja ne vohvelit, suolaisia ja makeita herkkuja on pakko ainakin kerran maistaa. 

This hotel Amandis is located next to small boats pier in Naantali. The hostess is wonderful person and will keep you informed of all the happenings in Naantali. The small sleeping building has few rooms but they are all very clean, very finnish and the best is that you can enjoy the sweet and salty waffles at Amandis. They are the best in Naantali or the whole Finland.

Naantalin ihanuus

The hotel is located on the central waterfront, on one side of the sea, on the other side of the park and the church. There is no reception as such, since it is both a hotel and a cafe at the same time, just come to the coffee rack and you are given the opportunity to fill out the questionnaire, serve coffee and give the keys. Living in a separate building. Our room was number 1, it is cornered, with windows 3 on each side, each room has an entrance with a common terrace, on which there are two tables and a chair where you can meet any child.
