Excellent place to stay. The charming old building is more than 100 years old. Hotel is located close to many attractions with a bike or a car. We also got excellent tips from the hotel owner of things to see close by. The hotel is very well kept, the rooms were cozy and clean. The breakfast had wide variety of choises. 

Excellent place to stay

This over 100 years old hotel by the beach Yyteri is very peaceful, romantic and clean. The staff is very friendly and  helpful. Location requires that you come with a car, but the hotel is quiet with fresh air from the sea. You can walk to the beach. Highly recommended !

Lovyely old retro hotel in Mäntyluoto, Pori

A building that has seen over 100 years and taken well care off, if you are looking for an old fashioned romantic stay this is the place, but if looking for a high end hotel this is not for you.
Lovely hostess, nice spread of breakfast. a good place overall.

An old Hotel with a history

We spent one night at this hotel and, whilst it is basically a functional and slightly old fashioned b&b hotel, we were made very welcome by the manager. She was very knowledgeable about the area and made excellent recommendations for local walks etc... The bedrooms and bathrooms are quite dated, as are the towels, but everything was very clean. A kettle was provided in the bedroom but only one teabag and one satchet of Nescafe, which was not generous, and no milk. However, on request milk was provided at once.

Alcohol could be bought from the bar until 21.00 but there were no snacks or supper available apart from a panini. Breakfast was plentiful and well organised.

There was no mention in the advertising that the port of Pori is immediately behind the hotel. It did not bother us as we had rooms on the rad side with a sea view. Had our rooms been overlooking the workings of the busy port it would not have been very scenic and with a window open would have been noisy.

As I said, our hostess was delightful, and so we left feeling well taken care of.

Old fashioned hotel gave a warm welcome ...

We stayed for one night at this hotel. We ordered a room with an extra bed for the child. The room cost 120 euros. We arrived in the afternoon. There was no extra bed in the room. We asked to place or give a room with a bed for the child. We came back in the evening. There was a folded shelf in the corner. There was laundry next to it. Nothing was stained, not even the shelf was laid. The room was very small, they barely inhaled this shelf. The beds were small, one-bedroom, like in a summer camp for children. The shower is very small - it doesn't turn around. The room smells raw and old. The refrigerator in one room made terrible sounds, had to turn it off. The train was decorated with an old style, it wasn't even decorated. It was just a good idea for some of our guests to stop on the old way.
