We went to the Nordic cottage in April 2018 and loved everything. It's hard to find any minus or anything to fix. Panoramic walls are just fantasy, a complete fusion with nature... A great lakefront bath, small, sinking in 40 to 100 degrees in minutes, we made a hole in the shore and everyone was diving! Even the little kids were wet their legs. Quiet place, fabulous forest, cozy beds. In a relatively small area, 6 adults and three children could fit perfectly! No one bothered anyone. It's all thought out. We'll definitely come back!

Summer on the ice, April 2018

For the second year in a row, we are renting a cottage in Laponia for our autumn holiday, collecting mushrooms and berries. The men are trying to fish - not very successfully, but the sea and the places are beautiful. We are walking in the woods in slippers - pine, moose, mushrooms, berries. The cottage is very convenient. It is equipped with everything necessary. There is only a separate freezer.

It's a great place.

There are shops, as well as attractions and entertainment of the resort. The Nordic is always at a fairly high elevation above the lake. A very beautiful view opens up. You will descend to the steep lake, and you will descend to it on a wooden staircase, which is carefully lit up in dark times. The light is lit up independently. There is a light that comes directly behind the door, which literally leads to the bathroom. There is also a large bathroom, which is almost as large as the bathroom. There is a large bathroom, which is almost as large as the bathroom.

The design of the house, its filling, its location, everything was great, but as an experienced traveler, overwhelmed by the isolation of Finnish cottages, that's probably the only thing missing from this house.

We stayed at Carell's cottage, which is in a separate house from the other houses of the firm, in Virmutjoki, near Imatra, which looks like a simple house, very nice inside, cozy, excellent price-quality ratio.

I liked it.

3 generations of our family enjoyed relaxing at Patalaiska's Nordic cottage. We enjoyed the sauna by the lake and a few of us went for a swim- a lovely temperature, especially after the sauna. 

Although our 2 kids don't have much experience around water, we felt comfortable letting them run around outside because it was easy to tell them not to go down the hill (fortunately, our kids sometimes listen to us!).

The owners were very easy to work with and helped with everything we needed.

It was close enough to Savonlinna and Kerimäki for an easy daytrip.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting

The cottage was good quality and everything worked. We are more than happy to come here again. The sauna is good. And cottage is not far away from the beach. You can watch sun setting down over a lake. Best regards to owners family

We were on family holiday in Patalaiska Lapponia cottage

We stayed for a week in July. The house is large and beautiful. The bedrooms are reasonable in size. Unfortunately the beds are no longer fresh. The mattresses smell really bad. The kitchen is old and not functional at all. The dishes are not suitable for a large family. There is not really a bathroom but a room with a shower, a toilet stuck in a corner and a tiny sink. For the outside, the table is too small for five people and is banqueting. There are bugs all around the cottage and bottles of alcohol under the trees. We signalled the contact person empty points but never got a response.
