The place has signs and lists what you have to do or you are not allowed to do and what the fine will be if you don’t comply. The place itself is not on par with all those rules. Also reception was not very friendly. The surrounding is nice, but the road noise is quite bad. If you need a place where to sleep one night then it might do, but other, nicer options.

Too much rules

I stayed there for one night. Got a little camping, which had everything needed for my stay. Also could use the toilet, showers and the kitchen. It's beside the lake and forest all around. Very magical place. I had the most nicest morning there. Woke up before 7, went beside lake with my coffee, it was about 12 degrees, a bit chilly but absolutely amazing. Once in a lifetime experience!

Hännilänsalmi Camping

A nice campsite on the lake shore in a clear forest. We stayed for one night, travelling from Norway, in the most budgeted house for 4 people. The house is small, warm, 2 or 2 beds of jelly, refrigerator, oven, corner and pot were in it. The toilet was on the street next door, the soul is common. The common kitchen had everything needed, coffee makers, teaspoons. Teaspoons. Mockers. A good place for a barbecue, everything needed was chains, water. In the campsite there was a children's playground with the quality of carrots.

Camping on the beach

A lovely place to visit. Especially when the Finnish children are going to school again. They have vacation through june and july. When we visited this camping in. August it was so quiet there. We could hear and see many birds. Also very Nice surroundings and a good starting loont for hiking and cycling. There is all a petting zoo with donkeys, a horse, sheep and some chickens. Above that the owner of this camping is very kind to anyone and always willing to help.

A lovely place!

Handlinelselmi Camping is very idyllic in a woodland by a lake. These dark brown huts fit perfectly into the surroundings and are  for not too high standards  equipped with everything you need. There are plenty of leisure opportunities in the surroundings, from fishing to hiking or  in winter  snowmobile rides. We arrived in rain, which is not exactly conducive to comfort; however, we were soon caught by the very own magic of this facility.

Good campsite in a fantastic environment

The campsite is reached after a kilometre of dirt road but also easy for motorcycles. It is well equipped, clean, equipped with a kitchen with grille available to guests. The cottages are very nice, comfortable, functional. There is wifi in the reception area.

Very pleasant.

The campsite has a large (common) kitchen with everything necessary, for those who do not have the facilities to cook food in the houses, with an outdoor focus, with a large set of shampoos, grills, etc. A large, nice parking lot for houses on wheels. A nice, picturesque children's playground with a bat and boats for rent.

A wonderful vacation.

We used to stay in a cottage with amenities. They are located right by the lake. In my opinion there are 2 minuses: the cottage has one large room, which is not comfortable with small children and to get to the toilet or shower you have to go outside. The toilet is in the same cottage, but with a separate door from the street. The children's playground is four minuses. The isolation is disturbed by the presence of a highway nearby.
