Our experience at Mas d’isnard was exceptional. Girard greeted us as we pulled up to the farmhouse, after opening the front entrance gate to the driveway. Girard is a warm and attentive host, and will ensure your comfort during your stay. There are three guest rooms and ours included a lovely view, bathroom, and table for coffee. The bed was very comfortable (firm)! We slept very well. Gerard gave us advice for horse riding in Saints-Marie-de-la-mer and we were fortunate to get a same day reservation to ride the beautiful Camargue horses through a vast protected nature preserve. 
The breakfast was delicious and the juice fresh pressed! A lovely table was set. There is an outdoor seating area for relaxing and the location is perfect to explore Arles center and ancient ruins, as well as the natural beauty of the Camargue. Though the farmhouse is in a quiet and very rural setting, it is in perfect driving distance to restaurants and local attractions. I would not recommend biking or walking you need a car.

Rustic, Relaxing, and Welcoming B and B!!

This is our 4th time staying at the Mas and in the last two times I have fallen in love with the place and the Camargue to the point of not wanting to leave. As always Gérard is a really pleasant and sunny person, he puts me in a good mood. Now it seems to be in the family when we arrive. Our dogs are always well received. Our rooms are clean and fragrant. The charming place in the most authentic countryside of the Camargue. The horses, the night walks to take the dogs out, the stars well visible in the full darkness are the little details that do not pass through Gérard. The dinner from Gérard is always perfect, from our pasture to the sweet and passing through the wines is one of those genuine dinners that you will always come back to the heart of the room. The breakfast is always a perfect place from Leonardo da Vinci to the very heart of Gérard.

It's a special, fascinating place. In the middle of the countryside, indeed, the Camargue. As soon as you arrive, it takes you back in time and you see yourself as a child again. Then when you enter and meet Gerard, you will find yourself covered with small and large attention.

Lunch from Cameroon

We hadn't had a break in Camargue for a long time and it was a success. We were ahead of schedule but Claude welcomed us very kindly. A comfortable room with air conditioning and with the temperature of the day it wasn't a luxury! Dinner wasn't planned (Gérard had forgotten) but he nevertheless made us a good meal with a smile to avoid a night out on the town.

A warm welcome from the owner, especially available and attentive. A charming building with a soul and a renovation that highlights the authenticity of the place.

It is a beautiful discovery that this magnificent mas is typical of the area. The establishment with authentic and neat decoration is impeccably clean. Gerard is very hospitable, and we enjoyed talking with him. He recommended many places to us. Breakfast is delicious. It is with pleasure that we will return there:)

Peaceful and pleasant stay

Based on the very positive reviews here we decided to stay here for two nights. The place is located in the middle of nowhere. We brought bikes and went to Arles two days, which is about a 30 minutes ride. The problem with the location is that there truly isn’t anything around, neither is the garden very appealing to sit in. 

The bedrooms have been nicely refurbished and are spacious. The windows have mosquito screens and the airco works well. A serious issue is that the bed is quite small and has metal end frames, so a person taller than 1.75 cannot sleep in properly it on its back.

The breakfast is very good and extensive, although the room downstairs in which it is served is a bit grim; not an inviting place to hang around. 

The host is very friendly and keeps a good privacy distance. Unfortunately he does not speak English. 

With a better bed, I would have rated this place with 4 stars.

Mixed feelings

Mr Gerard welcomed us with hospitality and cordiality, we stayed at the Mas with a little girl and therefore enjoyed both breakfast and dinner on the premises: in both cases, Gerard made us feel in the family and prepared genuine and delicious dishes.

A great stop in peace.

For a moment of serenity in a beautiful mas near Arles with a simple, discreet but very affectionate reception. The rooms are spacious, the typical French breakfast (wine shops, bread, homemade jams, orange juice...). And if you let yourself try, you can have dinner because your host will be pleased to cook for you. Mas restored respecting the architectural and cultural values of the Camargue. A great pleasure.
