Bed bugs infested beds. The sofa offered as a bedding was like a kind of infamous layer worthy of public discharge. The interior smelled wet and moist while the drought had spared the summer from any precipitation. Go sleep under a bridge or in the car; it will be more comfortable and, most importantly, it will scratch you less when you wake up. A real medieval castle, shameful!

It hurts a lot.

Very nice place for a special event the setting is beautiful located in a typical lorrain village c is really nice don't hesitate to go there the gardens are very well maintained we have made a very nice wedding i recommend it to the future groom

Marriage

This large aristocratic home is a family home, but it has retained a charm of the most rural and comfortable. Excellent price ratio for those who appreciate the bucolic frames, old stones, beautiful objects, the authenticity of the place, the preservation of heritage and history (Domrémy la Pucelle is only 10 minutes' drive from the resort). Absolute rest, sin and walking around: a hidden gem (hidden gem) as our British neighbors say in these types of places.

Invited to the Wedding

We had a real heart attack for this place from our first visit as we were looking for a place to celebrate our wedding. Mr. Milvaux is someone very friendly, hospitable and with whom the feeling goes very easily. So we celebrated our wedding at the Château d'Autigny-la-Tour in July and we couldn't have hoped for better. The gardens are very well maintained and very well suited for a laïc ceremony as well as a cocktail/wine of honour. The spirit of our wedding is very warm and welcoming and this place is very ready. We were able to arrange the room, terrace and gardens as well as the various places we received and the family on the way to the hotel. We were very attentive, and we needed to serve the friends and family, as well as the wedding room was very convenient and provided with a very large and comfortable living space.

That's perfect!

We got married on 9 July 2016 at the Château d'Autigny-la-Tour and we will keep an unforgettable memory of it. Everything was perfect with the sun in addition. Our guests loved the setting and the possibility of sleeping on the spot. The room is very beautiful and allows a very nice light play. A big thank you to Mr. Milvaux for his availability throughout the preparation and the ceremony. And also congratulations to our caterer Marcotullio who insured and knows the place well.

An Unforgettable Wedding at Autigny-la-Tour

We are definitely delighted to have chosen Autigny-la-Tour to organise our wedding! The owner was friendly and very much helping us in organising the event. The new main room where the dinner takes place is very nice and has the advantage of having all guests together and a cool place to have the party during hot summer. Gardens are splendid for pictures. Accommodation (capacity of approx 20 persons) at the castle is also convenient for friends and family to overnight closeby. Definitely a place that we would recommend!

Splendid wedding!

We've taken a hotel for a wedding, a very beautiful place for a party, a well-kept hotel area, lots of greenery, a pond nearby. The hotel staff is welcoming! Old style rooms, the only drawback in some rooms is there's no bathroom. There's a huge hall that was used for dinner at the wedding, and the brunch was held on the territory of a mini-hotel.

What a beautiful place!

Living in a beautiful castle with authentic furnishings and a beautiful castle garden. Perfect location on the outskirts of the village with a beautiful view. Very nice host. The room was huge and we could have stayed here for four. Great. We slept wonderfully and shower + toilet were decent. We stayed on Friday and were the only guests. In the yard there were preparations for a wedding party on Saturday, but they didn't bother us. To crown only one thing: dinner in the castle. Unfortunately, we have to drive a little further to dinner, because there are no restaurants in the castle itself, in the village or in the runway.

Authentic castle life

We stay at Chateaus all over France & this one was most disapointing.
The caretakers  were not there when we arrived despite us emailing ahead our arrival time.It was extremely cold & we slept in our fleeces. The room was attractive & bed comfortable but no clean towels 7 we were there 4 days.Dinner was very poor,at breakfast  the bread was not always fresh & for the last 2 mornings coffee had been sitting & was cold & there was no milk ready.Table was not cleaned of crumbs from other guests on last 2 morningsI.It seemed that the caretakers had gone away & left their son (wedding planner) in charge.Dining room on last 2 mornings was used to stack bed linen at end of table & matresses against the wall as they had a large bus trip in. It appears that they spend all of their time on functions & have no interest in Chambre D'Hote guests.
It was certainly not as expensive as most but we would not recommend it.
