Bagnoles-de-l'Orne

The apartment in La Potinière du Lac where we stayed for two nights was spacious and impeccably clean. The QR code key system surprised us a bit at first but it is finally very convenient. The studio is ideally located to visit Bagnoles de l'Orne and the view of the lake is really nice. We will definitely come back because it was a very pleasant stay.

An address to remember!

We had a nice meal and enjoyed very good dishes, special mention of burger and crumble fish, not to mention desserts 😁 The staff is top, we recommend and will be back!

That's a good address.

The hotel's location is ideal, on the lake and right in the centre of Bagnoles de l'Orne. The building's architecture is very typical of this spa resort. The studios are spacious and very well equipped, you can easily cook there (but a restaurant is also available). The soundproofing is effective. The QR code key system works perfectly.

The transition from the conventional hotel to the apartment is perfectly controlled both in terms of the proposed space and in terms of the reception process.

Successful transformation

I booked in to a two night stay at the apartments in December 2020.  I have a second home nearby and it needed serious cleaning up and gardening, so I needed a cosy base until I’d sorted it.

So glad I booked an apartment.  I’ve been visiting Bagnoles for 15 years, and have never stayed here.

I had apartment 6.   Great view of the lake and the Christmas lights.  Very well done out, lovely shower room, great bed, everything seems brand new.

The lady who owns it is super friendly too.

Highly recommended.  Weird seeing Bagnoles in lockdown, no bars/restaurants open, but this place was a terrific base to hunker down.

Fabulous Apartments

The lake pottery was already being redeveloped before the lockdown. So we booked right after. The transformation of this establishment into a hotel apartment was very successful. Our apartment was very well arranged and comfortable (with a view of the lake).

We really enjoyed it.

We went to this restaurant with friends on a Saturday night where we had a good time The servers are very nice and very carefree delicious dishes: I recommend 👍 reasonable price

We were very well received. The waiter is very friendly. He knows his trade very well and is close to his customers. My mother and I took a beef that was ordered to be cooked on time and that came overcooked. But we still had a meal. But my sister took a chicken that was roasted and not cooked and was too spicy. She was sick all night. The entrances and desserts are very good. And the cornishes are also miam.

It's a very nice little restaurant, very nice reception with a smile, which makes it rare these days to eat at the top of the terrace overlooking the lake.

Beautiful view of the lake

This great restaurant is being separated from the adjoining hotel. Refurbishment work has not detracted from the friendly efficient service and good food with a great view across he lake.  Really enjoyed our return visit
