We stopped here on our way down to Normandy, lovely original Château. Enjoyed a walk around the garden and great weather so we managed to sit out on the patio in the evening. We were offered the choice of several rooms, our room was totally original and very fitting of a Château. Continental breakfast was more than adequate and very fresh. Well worth a visit and very tranquil location.

Great French retreat 

We enjoyed the authenticity of the castle and its decoration, the beautiful park and surroundings, the comfort, the champagne on the terrace, the 'royal' breakfast in the beautiful living room, Maximilian's very attentive reception and all in simplicity and discretion, the price-quality ratio! We all four recommend this excellent address!

That's great!

Only regret: a little lost in the countryside. Otherwise everything deserves to be known: super park, very special atmosphere making our history beautiful in its decoration, charming owner,... to spend for real one or several nights in a castle, safe adventure. Little room, adds to the quiet of the place. Modern bathroom opposite a savantly preserved period room. And no TV!(It is in the common living room of the RdC) but Wi-Fi still.

Ideal for cleaning up

We stayed one night in this hotel decorated in the imperial style. Just magic! The owner is listening and very available. Breakfast is a pleasure for the papillae and for the eyes. Go without hesitation. We leave delighted!

A magical escape

Very warm welcome in a mansion dating from Napoleon III with a very nice interior decoration the rooms very well furnished a very good comfort for a very correct price with the opportunity to take a very nice walk in a park with trees more than a hundred years if you want guest rooms with absolute calm I highly recommend this detour

Stay for a weekend

Max is an amazing host, very helpful and makes a lot of effort to speak English. Has recommendations for restaurants and can make reservations if you’d like. The rooms are gorgeous, check before booking if the toilet & shower has a door (some do, some don’t). The bed was comfy but not that big. It’s very quiet. Some reviews said it was hard to find, but Google knows exactly, so no problem at all.

The breakfast is nice, but not a lot of variations or options. Beware that there’s almost no heating, so it gets cold! Even in May it was quite chilly. Max gave us an electric radiator, which helped a little.

Beautiful chateau, but can be chilly

We stayed in this B&B at a wedding. The place is beautiful and must be even more beautiful in summer. The room we had was very nice and very large, with a small but very modern bathroom. Two flaws I think: the bathtub in the Sdb is very small so it's not practical when you wash your face with water (you put it everywhere) and the bed is too small to our liking. The room is very warm and the bed has very warm blankets. The room has free Wi-Fi (the bad network is very appreciated), a bottle of water and laundry. As we were preparing for a wedding and we went back into the night, the owner had the attention of the room to the deliciousness of the room when we were in the castle, and the room was very nice, and the room was very nice, and we had to eat and drink.

Very good stay.

This is a castle, a real one, with genuine furnishings and decor. It is located in a pretty remote area, on a 6 hectares plot of land. The owner is nice and friendly and the atmosphere is unique. Good breakfast.

Real French Castle

The chateau is really amazing! High ceilings, antique furniture, big rooms and spaces, fireplaces, stained-glass windows! Beautiful inside and outside, nice park!
Welcome by Max was very very warm!
Wi Fi was quick and stable.
We really enjoyed our stay!
For dinner  we went to Villa des Houx which is 15 minutes driving, and it was great

Real Castle Experience

Very nice bed & breakfast in a romantic castle. The owner is very friendly and very friendly. The best thing is that you can bring your dog with you, who can walk and play with the owner's dog in the huge park. There is even a pond for our Golden Retriever. And a hose to get him clean again. The rooms are greatly furnished and the bathroom is small but modern. Breakfast is delicious French. We will definitely be back!
