We stayed as a family in Saphir appt 203,well located,looking over the castle and the ocean.Clean and well equipped.The beach is 15 minutes walk away, shuttles and buses are frequent.A pleasant setting for vacation and rest.The swimming pool of the residence is a plus.

Right Benefits

Nice location but outdated material: moist mattresses, hard to open blinds, rusty stretch, avoiding apartment 204 of the Lazuli 1 for these reasons.

We had a six-person cabin apartment, which was in poor working order and deserved to be renovated.The kitchen equipment is not suitable: the kitchen plates are too small to use a stove and a pan at the same time, small fridge, no dishwasher in the living room, only a sofa to sit on except for chairs.Literature to see again.The weekly TV rental costs 36 euros too expensive for a 36 cm TV with the same cathode tube).

Disappointed with our stay

3 of us in our thirties stayed here for 2 weeks and we were very disappointed. The location is not great as it's a 30min walk into Biarritz proper but the bus that ran late and bikes made this bearable. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy.

What made our stay terrible was the staff. Rude, arrogant and with ridiculous rules that made it more like a prison. For example, they tried to take deposit from us because we had a BBQ on our patio! We were also 'told off' for jumping in the pool in the middle of the night even though it had nothing to do with us. 

Overall, I'd recommend the campsite around the corner which is cheaper and friendlier by far

Terrible staff made it more like a prison

We had a very quiet, spacious 3-room apartment with a beautiful view of the Basque hills and the Pyrenees in the distance. The residence is located in a residential area of Biarritz, however, there are few shops nearby and you have to take the car for shopping. The nearest beach (Milady:) is about 800m from the back it goes dry, so with children, prefer the car again. The swimming pool of the residence is sufficient, however it does not provide for trunks or room to spread serviettes around. Very nice stay, a bemool the bedding would be worth seeing again.

Quiet holiday home

Stayed here for a week with a small group of friends in our early twenties. The apartments are located close to the centre of Biarritz and beaches, a night bus that runs until 5am stops just up the road from the apartments which was useful and saved on taxis. The apartment provided what we needed as we didn't spend a huge amount of time there. The pool is nice and is never crowded although there is no room to sunbathe round. Unfortunatly when we left the property  the staff who had originally come across as friendly, stormed into the apartment to check it before we left and were tutting at nothing, they said it was not cleaned, however we felt it was cleaner than when we moved in, They demanded 85 euros of our deposit. They said we had not cleaned certain things such as the bedding and windows... we would have done so if we had been told. 

Overall, Good location although a lot of familys, be prepared to lose your deposit!!

not a bad one, but not the best.

I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, old, noisy apartment, by a busy passing road, noisy. Passage also from the Biarritz airport line. Small pool, beach is not usable, there is no place to lay a towel.
