This converted farmhouse into guest and guest rooms is quietly located in a charming village near Giverny and Vernon.

Calm and charming

The charm and quiet countryside, a very nice address on this side of Vernon, friendly reception and a nice, fresh breakfast, perfect for a quiet evening, good advice for local restaurants and activities.

Quiet and green

A very nice guest house with a very nice garden, or we had the chance to have our breakfast. A welcoming, available, well-advised and discreet hotel. A comfortable room, bed in 140.

Serenity

Nice place, clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and the location of the place very pleasant, in a nice little village. Warm home! Excellent quality price report and very good breakfast!

That's nice.

We loved this place, an old farmhouse well renovated in a small village; we were in the very comfortable independent cottage. After 2 months of confinement this large sunny weekend was delicious. The garden is well organized with separate tables so as not to bother between the different host families. The area is magnificent and also allows for beautiful treks near the Seine, as well as more cultural with Giverny, Château Gaillard, and Vernon nearby. The owner is very friendly and good advice.

 On the plus side -the shower was efficient and the farm's location in a small village was very quiet.

On the minus side. The room was like a 1960's seedy student's bedsit. Makeshift furniture, not even bedside tables. No mechanical ventilation to the internal bathroom other than an air freshener. We were sold the room as the last available room at extra expense having an unwanted extra bed when the whole place was empty. We appeared to be the only guests. Presumably this was to charge us more for a “family room". The whole experience was depressing and we were glad to leave. At 88 euros this was a very excessive price for what was on offer compared with other recent places we have stayed at. Breakfast was minimal, bread or croissant butter, jam and coffee. There were a couple of brown spotted bananas in a metal container you would not want to eat. Our host Carl was abrasive and did not make us feel either welcome or at ease. The general impression was he just did'nt care about the welfare of his guests and having us there was rather a nuisance. We wonder where the word "fabulous" to describe it could have come from….. and must make a mental note of being more wary of guest reviews in future. They certainly did not tally with our own. There must be many better places in the area to choose from.

A real downer after a great trip

Delicious and a little spartan B&B, nice both the village and the B&B, small but clean rooms, friendly and available manager and very kind, great breakfast and with products made by managers and locals.

Kind and friendly

Room indicated by Texto at 95 euros while the price was 80 euros for 2 people on the site. Carl refused any discussion on the grounds that he did not manage his website??? and that the price difference between 80 and 95 euros came from the accommodation tax?? Nice as accommodation but incorrect from a commercial point of view In fact we paid the occupancy rate 3 people for 2 people!!!

Great location for visiting Giverny and Vernon as well as other beautiful medieval “flower” towns. 
Quiet, spotlessly clean with a delicious continental breakfast 
Our host was charming and very helpful with suggested sightseeing tips.
Comfortable bed but a little too hard for our like but not off putting....hence comment about sleep quality.
