We had a night in Cannes, the hotel is clean, air-conditioned, and two large beds in the room, which is a very good address for the passage.

Good quality price ratio

It's a good hotel, it's in a good location. The rooms are small, but the price is low. I really enjoyed the reception. I don't recommend breakfast, for that price you can get more on the waterfront, with a view. If you plan on staying for a short time and don't claim luxury, take it easy.

Modest but good.

This facility will no longer be rented seasonally following a ruling by the Commercial Court dated February 22, 2017...it was a seasonal facility that was absolutely not in line with the new forms of security...it was time to stop it it could become dangerous....

Very nice apartment but the bathroom is disgusting and the kitchen disgusting. The apartment is not clean at all, there was moist wood in the bathroom, debris on the sofa, the floor not cleaned, the bathtub was dusty and the windows were not cleaned damage because there is a beautiful view. The only advantage is the building that is old and has a crazy charm with a high ceiling in the apartments and a superb entrance hall. The reception was really unpleasant for us to know, already there is no indication for or is the reception which is obviously not to be found when you don't know much considering that it is behind the building.. I recommend the discount because I think you can find a better price for it.

Apartments that are not well maintained

Really bad. There was a WiFi that never worked, the hotel is not the one in the photo, the bathroom is hot and sunny while the others are cold, the staff doesn't exist, it's not in a quiet place and the bed is uncomfortable.

It's terrible.

It's disgraceful, disgraceful, mortifying, abject!!!! read all the negative reviews it's all true, we've had the same bad experience.

Especially not.

We booked through booking.com and were told to Turn up at 56 boulevard. As we drove toward the apartments trying to find the correct address I remember thinking that the building next door looked derelict as though it were war torn. I remember joking to my wife about it suggesting we wouldnt want to stay there!

Then we were greeted by a guy who asked us to follow him to our appartment. He promptly led us back out onto the street and next door to the "shell building". up the stairs we went to the first floor to be greeted by an apartment that was only to reveal more horrors.

There were two cleaners in the apartment who were frantically cleaning and clearing out the remains of the previous occupiers mess. The floor was in a state there was left over food lying around and we were embarrassingly reassured that it would take 20 mins only to clean it up and we should wait. We sat on the bed like lemons and waited while they speed cleaned (badly) the apartment. 

The manager showed us that we had a terrace that overlooked a literally "bomb crater' styled garden and there was no air condition but a single fan that looked like it had seen better days.

My wife was no struggling to hold back the tears as the holiday was starting to turn sour. The manager asked us if everything with the apartment was OK and we agreed we would give it a go as it could just just have been first impressions . BIG MISTAKE!

When they left we looked further around the apartment and started to see that not only did it look bad but also it was a DEATH TRAP in electrical wiring. See photos for pics of units wired as spurs to other units and broken bulbs etc.

We lasted one night and then decided to get another hotel in nearby Juan Les Pins. When we went to return the key and have it out with the manager the next morning they weren't there so we left the key under a rock as others had done and left.

They have since offered to refund us 100Euro of the stay and that was ages ago and still no refund.

My advice .....DO NOT BOOK!!!!!

Nightmare from start to end

We cancelled directly after arrival. The apartment we got was quite spacious, but on the 4th floor without functioning elevator. The interior was very basic and the airco didn't work (it was 30+ degrees when we were there). Luckily enough the landlord (lady) was so kind to refund our money without any hassle, we were happy to move somewhere else. 

It is a very nice building, but completely abandoned. The interior was very old and old fashioned. Not our cup of tea....

Very basic apartments, elevator not working, we had 4th floor apartment....

The problem is that it was a deadly oil: a mixture of humidity and soft water that you get used to after a while. In my opinion, it needs an urgent renovation, especially of the bathrooms. The kitchen is very complete, but there is no light. The correct patio, but there is no thorough cleaning. It is not close to the center, about 1.5 km away: I liked the decoration, it is well inspired without recharging. By the way, the air conditioning didn't work and it was only in the dining room... we fixed it one day, but the next it was nowhere...An important problem to solve.
