A warm welcome an exceptionally calm and especially original setting the yurt and the box were impeccable the owners being absent the lady who replaced them it was shown very available and welcoming we will certainly return again castles and cellars to discover we would have appreciated as such some tourist leaflets to do but nothing of gray we found

It's a very nice week.

We spent a night as a family in this yurt located 15 minutes from the Beauvais Zoo. The location is ideal, in the middle of nature with a small lake. The yurt is perfectly clean, the bedding is impeccable and there is all the necessary equipment in the square right next door for cooking and toileting. We felt like we were alone in the world and that is what we were looking for! We will be back!

Calmness and Nature

It is 7 km from Montrichard. It is very lush, and you can see the stars from the bed! Very good experience. It is in the middle of the countryside. The owners are nearby but on the other side of the lake, so one has maximum tranquility and privacy. It is the yurt, where one sleeps, which has a hot tub, and on the other side the African house, which is half kitchen and dining room, and the other half bathroom. It has a bathroom.

To stay for several days.

Very warm welcome from the owners. Incredible experience. We slept super well despite the rain. Previously we managed to make a barbecue in front of the lake. Very good price ratio. However, a place a little difficult to find. But otherwise nothing to say.

Diligent and resourceful

We had a very nice weekend in a quiet, landscaped place. The yurt is very nice and clean. The rustic and atypical bathroom. The open kitchen is functional. The cherry on the cake, we took a boat ride on the pond.

The scope of this Regulation is:

A warm home, a welcome bottle, a stream of good addresses to explore the area. The setting is beautiful. Animals and trees for only neighbors. We enjoy the starry nights: the top of the yurt is transparent, a small boat to go around the pond. Barbecue available. Exits the noise and visual pollution, nature is alive, everything is well thought out to have a good stay. Thank you for this original achievement in this wonderful place. A Yurt at the Heart of Nature

We had a very pleasant evening in ideal conditions: comfort and nature combined! By a pond, a kitchen equipped and sleeping under a very well-equipped yurt to the Mongolian taste. (And again a comfortable bunk bed). Very welcome from the owner. Simplicity and relaxation, landscaping assured in our beautiful Touraine. Just want to come back a little longer next time!

It's a little corner of heaven.

We had a very nice time, warm welcome. It's simple but it seems logical since we get closer to nature and the originality of the yurt justifies the price... comfortable, clean beds... How to secure the water point whereas when we want to respect nature we have to leave it free... Just keep a good eye on the children... A nice little boat ride... A gentle ecological approach to our loulou seeds very interesting. Of course, the dry weather is better but we are not all-powerful to predict it, we adapt... I nature this place to be at peace and as close to the advice...

Back to the Wildlife

We spent a night here as a stopover on our way to family holidays in the south west of France. We all loved the delightful Mongolian yurt, tastefully and comfortably furnished, and the charming African hut which houses the kitchen and bathroom.

Set up at the edge of a forest, in a grassy field and by a small lake, this is a wonderfully quiet and remote place to stay. The couple running the place, friendly and helpful, live the other side of the lake. 

The beds (1 double and 2 singles - plus 2 slide-out singles which we didn't use) were comfortable, which good quality linen. The kitchen is well equipped, with a sink, a full height fridge, an oven and 4-ring gas stove-top, and a good range of pots, pans, cuttlery, crockery, etc. The bathroom has a sink, a full sized bath tub (and enough hot water for the whole family), and a composting or dry toilet. Note that the entrance to the bathroom is closed only by a curtain, and that the small window looking out to the field has no curtain at all.

The setting is remote, and a little tricky to find even with a gps. And this is definitely a self-catering setup, there are no other facilities on site - no tv room, no bar, no restaurant. The town of Montrichard, about 8km away, has a supermarket and restaurants.

We were quite delighted with this lovely place; the charm of the yurt and the hut under a starry starry countryside night sky was quite magical.
