At 15 mn of the Bordeaux roundabout on a freeway area but very quiet and access to the freeway in both directions attentive staff, good quality of all services for a 3 star close to a very correct courtyard after several deplorable experiences in Bordeaux, I largely prefer to come to sleep in this Ace Hotel

Excellent quality/price ratio

The newly renovated hotel is located right next to the Bordeaux Cestas rest area and can also be reached only by the highway from both directions. Everything makes a very good, clean impression. At the reception I was very friendlyly welcomed in English. The room was large and modernly furnished, the free Wi-Fi worked everywhere without any problems and quite quickly. In the morning you could have a nice breakfast in the hotel for 7€ for French conditions. Since the hotel does not have a restaurant, you can go to the nearby rest area to eat (you have eaten very well there), or under the highway to the restaurant area on the other side (15% discount as a hotel). I could not recommend the latter, however. For a price, I absolutely recommend the hotel if you are underway (then only by car).

Very good price-performance ratio

Our room was quiet, comfortable, and even had UK BBC 1 and 2 on the TV! The Cortepaille resaurant gives discount to guests and the breakfast in the morning was nice. 
Very convenient for an overnight stop, and we would definitely use it again.

Good for a budget hotel

We have stayed here in this budget Hotel many times before when catching the morning ferry from Saint Malo.
The simple accommodation has always been found to be clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly.
The location is good, close to a small village, with various opportunities to eat close by and a large hypermarket and filling station.
For those who like a walk after a long drive, the river Rance is nearby and some attractive routes along it's banks

An ideal stopover for the Saint Malo ferry

This hotel is very well located, the rooms are very clean, functional, the choice of decor and colors is superb. Very good price ratio. I highly recommend first class. The reception was also quite favorable.

Great first class.

Good location for a stay between Bordeaux city and the ocean. Very clean, and recently renovated, note that a vehicle is required. Very good quality price ratio. I recommend for a cheap stay.

Three good things

Tip: Bill a higher amount for breakfast so that there will also be snacks. Otherwise we have only positive reviews. We will definitely return next year, if we travel to Spain and when we return, we will also stay overnight here.

Excellent experience at the hotel!!!

Stage on our route Very comfortable and clean family room. Couple room with 3 children (1 year, 4 years and 15 years) Very good accommodation. Lunch at the top. Restaurant (2) walking distance ((5min) I recommend this link in Stage Hotel

Excellent family room

When I arrived I was very surprised because the decoration is much better than the Parisian Campanile. Much more room between the tables was enjoyable with the children. The waitress must have been new not very warm but at least came to see us several times to see if it was going. My 5-year-old son took a child menu, entrance from Rosette (serving generously for a child, enjoyable), then 2 nuggets of fish with rice (damaging rice was not natural but with pickles and onions and at this age he doesn't like all children's cereals). As for us, the salad of rice is good for me but I want to eat it for my husband who has not really touched it. We took the rice to the bowl for my husband and hated me.

Disappointment

This is the hotel at the Cestas Service area on the A63. Regular travellers will remember a somewhat run down service area and an unexciting Campanile Hotel. All that has changed. The service area has been completely remodelled with a new Leo restaurant. The brand new hotel is now branded as Ace. It has a lot to recommend it. It has free secure parking, is bright and cheerful and dog friendly.  The rooms are considerably bigger than in other budget chains. The hotel is well sound proofed so you are not disturbed by traffic noise from the adjacent motorway,
The hotel provides guests with a 15% discount voucher for the Courtpaille restaurant. This is actually on the other side of the motorway but easily accessed via well lit pedestrian walkways and a tunnel.
Breakfast in the hotel was standard continental. The only slight moan we had was that there id no bar in the hotel. The reception staff could offer only beer for an evening drink.
