There is a double bed that is good and there is an uncomfortable couch that rolls over into 2 beds of 80 cm. You can smell all the springs, the glass berries located just behind the couch let the air flow. when you sit on the couch the middle place is unusable because of the bed frame. So you can sit at 2. If you are 4 the others are content with chairs. The d room has been modified to be accessible to the disabled but the reverse of the medal c is that the curtain is not enough to prevent even a small water supply from repeating itself everywhere.

Well located residence but medium-sized

We had a very good stay in this residence. The hostess was very kind and available to answer our questions. Beautiful views of the valley and the ice rink. Apartment size suitable for a couple and a 3-year-old child. With the covid the resort was relatively deserted because we were off school holidays. Small shops nearby. We really think we'll be back in this residence in 2022, and why not in the same apartment if possible.

Residence well located

I wish I had a household kit and dishwasher, I wish I had a little more storage than a poor little dresser for four, I wish I had more dishes than just for four people, the residence has no decoding code, okay, the resort is not at risk but still.

Two-room accommodation

A recommended accommodation to enjoy a we rando. An excellent price ratio. I would like to thank the hostess for her kindness and availability. The apartment was clean, well equipped and above all very quiet. I recommend.

Quiet accommodation

We rented an apartment for 5 people, it's very nice, comfortable and well located. It's just a few steps away from the 1650s, good internet connection, has a parking garage and the people who attend are very friendly. They have access to enter with the equipment right next to the main entrance, and a closet to keep everything, although for 5 people it can seem a little small. It has 1 bathroom and 2 showers all separated, which is very convenient. You have the option to pay for the toilet (65) or do it yourself. We didn't know the spa because it was closed. We loved it and will definitely be back for another ski season. We will definitely be back!

Very cozy and unforgettable!

We rented a studio with a beautiful view and nice facilities... spa just below with a restaurant where a discount is applied due to the rental. Close to the tracks. Only bemool, the absence of reserved parking or covered parking. Especially do not go to the residence the snow screen (lack of cleanliness, lack of calm, damaged furniture, etc...). We rented an apartment in this place.

Good address

Residence les Balcons de Recoin is a fantastic property, well managed and 25 (+ - )  meters from the lifts.  It is a basic, yet very functional property that was truly home for us for one week in February.  Recon 1650 is picturesque station with many ski rentals, ski school, restaurants and cafes, as well as there is Casino market, baker (a must!) and plenty shops to buy essential and more.  The resort is mainly French speaking, yet personnel in restaurants, ski hire, ski school and at the residence, speak good English.  Les Balcons has a wonderful views and setting, depends on the wing I guess. We had a lovely valley view and a bit of mountain view, which was magic. I highly recommend this small resorts with superb, hassle-free skiing, traditional standards and good French restaurants and of course Les Balcons bang in the centre of it all.  Slopes here have relaxed atmosphere feel, some wide & Blue, some steep, narrow and Red/Black :-) but a wide variety of slopes with a range for everyone for a decent ski.  P.S.  WiFi is not good, so try to take your own hotspot or 4G thingy. Have fun. ;-)

Snow Ski & Fun plus Sun

We had spent a week in this residence we had been very well advised by the person on the phone and welcomed by this very nice person available really very warm no disappointment for the duplex comfort and mountain view what pleasure the resort offers at all on the site no obligation to re-do the road except for the first full shopping there is only left to enjoy

No disappointment!

Family of 4 stayed for 1 week in Feb 2019.  The location is great - right opposite the gondola that goes to the top of the mountain really quickly.  We had a "6 person" apartment which was fine for 4 people  - one double bedroom with shower/sink and one twin bedroom - which annoyingly only had a curtain to the corridor so poor privacy.  Overall the location makes this a decent place to stay but the flats are a little shabby - peeling paintwork, worn carpets and holes in the curtains.  The heating worked well, always hot water, and kitchen facilities very good.  

The negatives are: really terrible tiny towels, had to make all the beds on arrival (why??), tiny ski locker and weird location of entrance and boot room (at back of hotel away from slopes).

Despite the very quiet week we stayed we were given a back facing room with very poor view of back street and bins which wasn't great.  Reception not open much and not very friendly/helpful.  Wifi only worked in reception.

Ski hire, ski pass shop, Casino supermarket all 2 mins walk.  Skiing is fairly small compared to the big resorts but 3 high level skiers enjoyed the slopes.  

Chamrousse is pretty limited for choice and on location alone this is a good choice.  Does need some uprating.

Great location and decent facilities

No one gives you the keys and takes care of you they didn't even tell us that a ski area was available with the key to the room.
