As soon as we arrived our welcome was sad then our rooms were a disaster! Bad bedding, unpaired furniture, spider canvases, foul smell in the bathroom The poor toilet towels The breakfast as a whole was fine but we took two extra coffee we paid for them extra Nothing to do with their website!!

What to Avoid

We spent a few days in this small city hotel, in a functional, simple, very clean, PMR room, which I would recommend easily. The dishes or menus of the day are simple but satisfying and good to go. We'll be glad to come back.

It's a small hotel outside of Carcassonne, but quick to walk to the restaurant in the evening. Very friendly welcome from the boss. We slept very well.

Stop by before vacation in Carcassonne

Viello establishment... but that's not the problem. Dusty rooms, spider canvases above beds with their inhabitants. Moist bathroom, rusty faucet. Lack of WiFi. The boss should change profession... it's really not for business and/or tourism.

Family kitchen but very good price more than reasonable we'll come back with very quiet pleasures the boss is super nice talk to him about sport and you'll make a friend of him 12.40 euros all included by no one is really cheap

It's a small restaurant like most of us.

This is a great little stop over while travelling through France. We stayed one night with 3 kids (7yrs, 2yrs, 7weeks old).
The room was spacious, clean, well kept and did not at all smell of smoke. Simple decor with a home feel. Our room was like a mini suite in that we came through one door but we had two rooms so we could shut the door to our room when the 2yr old and 7yr old went to bed. 

Fans were provided in both rooms, it had been 25 degrees in the day and the rooms remained cool, we did not need the fans or the windows open. It was cool enough for the baby to sleep safely (we had her thermometer with us).

We arrived on a Sunday so we knew from the website the restaurant would be shut. Most restaurants in town were also closed. Hotel Maurice recommended the Best Western which is a 2min walk away. Hotel Maurice guests got a free cocktail there. The meal was £100 for all four of us to have 3 courses, the food was fantastic and worth this amount. Plus they welcomed our noisy kids and had an area with toys for them to play even though it was a very nice restaurant.

The hotel is less than 20mins walk from the town centre, we drove due to having a toddler, which was very straight forwards.

We had breakfast at hotel Maurice in the morning, lovely French breakfast: croissants, baguette, coffee, hot chocolate and orange juice. Nice atmosphere it was busy but I felt comfortable breastfeeding.

Travelling with 3 kids to the south of France is stressful but this hotel gave us a lovely relaxed night, thank you. We will be staying again.

Although the price is quite right and one cannot claim to be very luxurious for such a price but it seems to me that hygiene and cleanliness are a minimum to offer to the customers......which was not at all the case, quite the contrary!!!!!smell very unpleasant, even unbearable, bathroom more than doubtful, as for the reception, no how!!!! in short, we preferred to go halfway in summary: go your way, don't go there

It's a simple, clean, comfortable hotel, with a nice breakfast, a friendly staff, a friendly family, and a moderate price, perfect for a night out.

Very good family relationship

We were 3 adults a child and a dog we had the family room nothing said comfortable bed, old room but clean friendly home, free wife gargantuous breakfast we will definitely be back for a break
