Thanks to Guillaume for his friendly hospitality and his unfailing availability..we disturbed him at 1:30 in the morning following an independent power cut..he intervened from 5 minutes to re-start the switch..we were 4 families for 12 people..each of us could keep his independence because each room has its own bathroom and its own toilet... the kitchen is well equipped..necessary kitchen..the top for us 12 people big pot for cooking.. ice cream machine..piano chair passing..f everything is functional and made to make the stay pleasant for our tribe..who we love whether we don't like the decoration..this authentic house and the terrace remain of our expectations for a pleasant stay..there are 12 guests you can't expect to go back to the party in the nearby hill..the view of the hill is very beautiful..

Ideal for groups

It's a wonderful place, spacious and functional with a beautiful view of the Epernay Valley, and William, the owner, is super nice and caring.

It's perfect.

Very comfortable rooms and breakfast was excellent.  The hosts could not have done anymore for us, it was perfect.  We walked from the property down past the vineyards to the nearest village where there is a delicious bakery and coffee shops.  Epernay is not far by car where you will find everything you need from supermarkets to restaurants.  The host has a range of champagne of his own which he sells at a competitive price.

We found the accommodation by chance and booked it. Since the off-season, we were almost the only guests. Great location with beautiful views, parking, super friendly host, clean rooms with everything you need. Champagne from cousin (about 100 meters away) is great. We have been traveling in champagne for six years, the accommodation and champagne were the most beautiful new discovery for us! Absolutely recommended, we come back!

Nice place with a magnificent view. Helpful staff. Clean and very spacious rooms.
The building is a bit old and noisy (wooden floors), but has very good beds.
Nice but average breakfast. You can buy at least 15 different kind of Champagnes at the B&B at very reasonable prices.

Excellent location among the vineyards, perfect structure and abundant breakfast prepared at the moment, but what you don't expect is the welcome... Gui Gui the landlord with his wonderful family makes you feel at home like family

The corner of heaven

We chose to stay at Chavot Bellevue based on previous reviews which described it as a homely and welcoming, family-run B&B, perfectly located to explore the surrounding Champagne region – just what we were looking for. Our high hopes were exceeded from the moment we arrived. Chavot Bellevue is a 5 minute drive, or 15 minute cycle from nearby Epernay, high up on a hill, it has pretty views of the vineyards beneath. In a quiet, small hamlet/village, it is a peaceful location, tucked away from the busier tourist hubs. The building itself is very secure, with entrance via electric gates, with safe parking within it. It is very picturesque – lilac shutters, roses, and a terrace/BBQ area with picnic tables and chairs. Our room was very spacious and equipped with everything we needed: a large, comfortable Emperor bed, flat screen TV, fridge, power shower and double sinks. The only very small improvement could be in-room tea/coffee facilities, however the coffee at breakfast was very good. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly host Guillaume, who went out of his way to make our stay perfect. His family owns a nearby vineyard and he sells the Champagne at very reasonable prices (about £14 per bottle) – we bought a box of it to take home! A similar quality to some of the bigger name producers and a fraction of the price. He has two bikes which you can use if they are available – worth doing as hiring elsewhere is expensive. Breakfast was quintessentially French – fresh pastries Guillaume buys each morning, ham, cheese and eggs. We dined at a nearby local restaurant one evening, recommended by Guillaume, but actually preferred our second evening, when we visited the local supermarket (it’s huge) and bought our own food to BBQ back at the B&B over some more of Guillaume’s Champagne. A perfect stay and we will certainly be back.

Our stay at the cottage was exceptional, an exceptional reception, kindness and availability of the owners as we rarely meet. The cottage is very spacious, there is nothing missing, the view is great!! shortly we will be back it is on!!! not to miss!
